He gnawed on the spoon a bit while thinking. "Jenovian cookies!"

 

He nods in agreement.
She buries her face into her husband's chest.

 

He rubbed her back while stroking her hair. "Shouldn't you get Sephana?"

 

"Not until the oven is done. You don't want them burnt and crispy, do you?"
"It is just not fair. I want everyone dear to me to be happy and he's the only one that's not!"

 

"You can go comfort him if you want. Not in that way of course." "Good point."

 

"I'll be invisible to him even if I'm standing right in front of his face."

"Should be around now." He pulls the cover off then pulls quickly on top of the stove. "Who is getting her?"
She encourages the oddball child to her siblings.

 

"You." She licked her sister's face as Shihab nuzzled her.

The weather here has gone crazy. An hour ago it was 60 degrees and now it's only 25 and raining.

 

She licks both of them then nuzzles them.
He found Sephana using her father's bathroom in her mermaid form. At first, he thought he was seeing younger Luana then shook his head and Sephana looks at him in annoyance.

 

She barked that was like giggling. He took one of the cookies off the sheet and bit into it curiously.

 

"There's human snacks in the kitchen."
She nods. "I'll be there."
She barks excitedly then nuzzles her some more.

 

She wagged her tail happily.

 

"Did I miss anything?"
He teleports back to the kitchen.
Sephana uses a jenovian portal still in her mermaid form.

 

"Not really." He finished the cookie and got a second one.

 

She takes one then bites into it. "This is yummy!"
"Jenova, is there such thing as too much mako for a jenovian?"
"Papa was hugging me to death in the library."

 

"I don't think so." He scooted as far away from her as he could on the counter. She barked in laughter.

 

"How come you are mad at me?" She asks as she nibbles on her cookie.
"How is that funny?!"

 

He whimpered and wrapped his wings around himself. "That sounds just like him."
