She tilts her head. "Brats?"
"How did you know about this?"

 

"Malik and Ronda." His face softened as he immersed himself in the memories. "I saw her when she was still in her experimental tube. I tolerated it for only so long before I took her with the aid of a king of demons who is now residing in this castle."

 

"Who is this person that helped you?"
"Let them be. Malik becomes a different person when Ronda is around."

 

"I don't know his real name, but we just call him Demon King."

 

"You didn't mention about Demon King when I asked you 'what's new?'" She yells as she pounds her father's shoulder.
She sits down on the floor and scratches behind her nephew and niece's ears.

 

"I forgot about him, I was too worried about you to remember him. He's asleep right now anyway."

 

She pouts. "You're a doting father, you know that right?"
She bites the bird's head off.

 

He shrugged. "You should know by now that I'm too overprotective for my own good."

 

She growls darkly. "And chose the pest's side."

 

"I love both of you, she's just a child and she needs attention to be raised right. I was abused as a child and look what happened to me." He buried his face in his hands. "I'm a freak of nature and mentally unstable constantly."

 

She hits her mother.
She whacks her back.
"Ow, that got me nowhere." She rubs her head.

 

He whimpered softly.

 

She rises then hugs her husband then plants a kiss on his cheek.

 

He wrapped an arm around her while shivering.

 

"If it was a touchy subject, you should have turn it down." "Go and bug Grandma Lucrecia."
She obeys since she doesn't want to get hurt again.

 

He rested his head on her lap.

 

"Sorry I couldn't wake up sooner."

 

He nudged her hand with his nose.

 

She caresses his face.

 

He purred happily as he rolled onto his back.
