He went down to the garden to look for the pup.

 

She whimpers softly close to the stranger's location.

 

He heard her and picked her up. "It's alright." He said soothingly as he rocked her in his arms like a baby.

 

Her muscles relax then snuggles close to him.

 

He wrapped his larger wing around her as he went back inside.

 

"Shihab, why did you attack your sister?"

 

"She keeps on pushing me when I eat something."

 

"You won't have that problem again."
She paws his uniform to get his attention.

 

"What is it, little pup?"

 

She lifts her head to lick his face gently.

 

He chuckled and scratched her head. "Are you hungry?"

 

She nods as she wags her tail and pants.
"How are you doing Karim?"

 

He got a bottle and filled it with blood before putting it in her mouth. He squeaked happily.

 

She drinks it greedily.
"I'm glad." She turns her attention to Raja. "Do you like your parents?"

 

"Yeah, why wouldn't I?"

 

"Just wondering. I love my dad so much that I want to be like him."

 

He smiled in his sleep. "You sound just like your mother."
