She hugs him once more before falling asleep.

 

He snuggled closer to her and purred softly.

 

A tear comes out of her eye.
He changes his mother's clothes. "Tell grandpa the truth."

 

He wiped the tear off her face gently.

 

She nods then heads to Sephiroth's room.
She mumbles incoherently in her sleep.

 

He rubbed her back.

 

"Do you want to hear it or not?" She asks impatiently as she puts her hands on her hips.
Her muscles relax.

 

He didn't answer as his blank eyes stared at the floor.

 

She picks up his ring then puts on the stand. "Fine, that's the end of us."

 

He drained the strength from her as his eyes glowed brighter. "And what will you do without me, hm? Run off to some other fool? You know it won't be the same without me."

 

"I changed because you hurt my son. Do you still think you can make up for that?"
"Help me choose, gaia." She mumbles.

 

"I did that because he has the soul of a dangerous person in him that takes him over occasionally. That dangerous person nearly killed one of our daughters so I had no choice. If you won't accept that, then you can leave here and never return."

 

"Oh, you mean the puppy. He's under my care now."

 

"Care?! You shouldn't be caring for him!"

 

"How I treat him is none of your concern as long as he doesn't cause problems. Isn't that what you want?"

 

He nodded reluctantly.

 

She draws herself into a corner. "I want to touch her but I can't."

 

"I've got an idea. How about if Sephana puts a light shield around herself and then I put a darkness shield over it?"

 

She shook her head. "I dirtied my hands so you can gain more power. I can't touch something that's innocent."

 

"Power? You mean the villagers you killed?"
