"Between you and Sephiroth." He shook his head.

 

"That is small as an ant. He changed my heart by hurting it."

 

"I doubt that he'd harm you if he loved you so much to make you his wife."

 

"He was unaware and that's his problem." She flies away.

 

He sighed and flew back to the castle.

 

"Nothing changed."

 

"Not here..." He tucked his wings neatly behind his back after he landed before the entrance and walked towards Lucrecia.

 

She notices Chaos and smiles. "How did it go?"

 

"From what I could tell, Sephiroth did something to hurt her heart without realizing it. Luana wouldn't tell me the details so I'm assuming Sephiroth doesn't know either."

 

"Should we confront him?"

 

"Considering what I'm picking up from his mind, no."

 

She hugs him. "What are we going to do?"
She opens her mouth wide.

 

He shrugged as he embraced her. He put a bottle of mako in her mouth.

 

She drinks it.
She rests her head away from the protomateria. "Does Vincent still need that?"

 

"Heck if I know."

 

"I'll hold on to it. I'm sure you're tired of it for thirty years."

 

"If you can get it out that is."

 

She wraps her fingers around the materia then pulls it out easily.

 

He spread his wings, which were now larger than before, out to their full length and he seemed to grow taller as he let out a content sigh. "Much better."
