He crawled into Vincent's arms and snuggled against his chest as he nodded. "How does he know all of this?"

 

"I'm not sure." She hugs Vincent. "But I'm glad you are here."

 

He gave her one of his rare smiles. "Same here." "I see everything Sephiroth sees except for when he blocks me to protect my innocence, which for some reason he is doing at this moment."

 

She breaks away from Vincent and runs away with tears streaming down her eyes.

 

"Lucrecia!" He chased after her as Seph clung to his neck to keep from falling.

 

She found the nearest room and apparently it looked like a dungeon.
"Another maiden, huh? He would kill me for this."
"Who are you?"

 

"Malik, don't you dare!" "Mom, whatever you do, don't listen to him and get out of there immediately!" He hopped out of Vincent's arms and dashed ahead of him. She teleported behind Malik and dug her nails into his skull. "Don't even think about it."

 

"Chill old man and old bat. I'm chained up so I can't do anything to her." He turns his attention to the woman. "If you are really curious, you would have to disobey that brat."
She backs up slowly as she could tell there's bitterness in his voice.

 

They both snarled at him. He burst through the door and took a defensive stance in front of his mom. "Remember, curiosity got me the way I am."

 

She gets out of the room quickly as she can and continues to run away from Vincent.
"I'm the one who's labeled as 'monster' to the whole family." He shook the chains violently to prove his point he couldn't attack him. "I even got three members ready to wet their pants."

 

She rolled her eyes and slashed his stomach open before leaving. He chased after his mom and clung to her arm. "How come scientists can run so quickly?" He muttered to himself as he changed directions.

Seriously, you know something is wrong when a chubby scientist like Hollander can run faster than a first-class SOLDIER like Zack.

She stops. "Who was that Seph?"
"Is there something wrong honey?"

 

"Mom ran into Malik." "That was Malik. Luana used to be with Cloud, a soldier who defeated Sephiroth time and again who Vincent helped. During their time together, they had a son, Malik."

 

"He likes creating chaos, doesn't he?"

 

"What else is new? If there was a way to make him stay dead, then I would do it." "Lucrecia, are you alright?" He asked as he came up to her.

 

"I hate the fact he can toy with my emotions, Sephiroth. He makes me want him dead and another part wants me to keep him alive."
"Yeah, something just occurred to me that has to do with you." She turns her back to him then hugs herself.

 

"You can always toy with Cloud's emotions to make you feel better." "What is it?" He hugged her neck.

 

"My ideal way to toy with him is putting him with your mother. That just makes me bad as him."
She shook her head.

 

He tilted his head. He rubbed her back.
