She nuzzles the creature in her arms as she smiles happily.

 

She stroked her hair.

 

"Do you think wine has anything to do with her eyes?"
She intertwines her fingers with her beloved.
Her eyes grew heavy.

 

"I don't think so. I think it has to do with the goddess qualities in her."

 

"What other qualities?"

 

"We'll find out when she's older."

 

She yawns then falls asleep.
"And we should keep her away from her half-brother."

 

"Definitely. Those Strifes were always trouble and will always be."

 

"Mei has proven herself as a Crescent. Don't you think we should give her a reward?"

 

"I agree, but what kind?"

 

"I was thinking of a wedding for the two of them but Cloud would forbid it. Any other suggestions?"

 

"Who cares about what Cloud thinks? They love each other and deserve it."

 

She nuzzles her husband. "You're right. They should have one. Once you are in full recovery, we'll tell them then they'll decide who will do the preparations."

 

"And if Cloud still rejects, well, too bad for him."

 

"That's one of the problems about her. He's her only parent left and she will follow his decision."

 

"Not unless he's hypnotized and will say what I want him to say."

 

"He always worms his way out and she knows well when he's controlled or not."

 

He tapped mental fingers on Cloud's mind. "You hearing this?"

 

"No, I didn't hear anything until now."

 

"Theoretically speaking, how would you react if your daughter and my son were to be wed?"
