Her eyes smiles warmly at the couple. "What is his wife like?"
"She doesn't seem so bad."

 

"She went through the same experiments he did so he rescued her as a baby and raised her."

 

"That's strange, they look like they are the same age."
She giggles.

 

"They are forever in their prime, for they are vampires."

 

"You don't mind if your mom is a doctor for our child, right?"
"I thought those are legends."

 

"I guess not." "Apparently not."

 

"Ms. Crescent,"
"Please call me Lucrecia."
"Lucrecia, your son said he prefers you to be our doctor."
She smiles warmly. "Of course." She takes her daughter-in-law into a private room.

 

He snuggled close to his Mother.

 

"So how much food are you getting?"
She shrugs. "Once every other week."
"That's bad." A goblet stood in midair and she looks at it surprised.
She takes it. "A trouble maker and very thoughtful." She drinks it little at a time.
"Someone you are familiar with?"
She laughs softly. "Yes, my son."

 

"You don't know vampire's eating habits." Ocean said as she trotted up to them.

 

"Hello Ocean." She said as she bows in acknowledgement. "She's Jenova's friend since she was a hatchling."
"What do you mean?" She asks the dragon.

 

"Vampires eat less than humans do unless they are under a lot of stress or emotional distress. About once every week is fine if the person has been a vampire for awhile."

 

"Maybe if it is just for yourself, but she's carrying another life. That requires more than usual."
She falls onto her knees then her breathing becomes irregular.

 

"I believe it is time."

 

She lifts her onto a chair with her arms then places an oxygen mask on her.
She pushes as hard as she could.

 

"Don't try to put her to sleep." He said as he walked into the room and gently squeezed his wife's hand.

 

She smiles under the mask then pushes again as she squeezes her husband's hand tightly.
"I still don't see anything." She said after she places a sheet on the pregnant woman.

 

He gently rubbed her stomach with a little more pressure than usual.

 

Tears fall down her eyes as she wants to rest.
"Push again." She urges.

 

He lent her his power.
