The female scientist stretches and looks at the room she's in. "Why am I in a lab?"

 

He stood up and leaned against a wall while crossing his arms across his chest. "Well, you are a scientist, aren't you?

I'm the person next to you on the chocobo.

She turns her head to the voice. "Oh, Sephiroth. Congratulations on your wedding."

 

"...Mom...I..."

 

She stands up then walks over to her son. "What's the matter, dear?"

 

"I- I'm sorry."

 

She tilts her head as she smiles gently. "Sorry for what?"

 

"For everything. Gong insane, trying to destroy the planet, then succeeding in it."

 

She opens her arms wide. "Apology accepted."

 

He wrapped his arms around her as buried his face in her chest. "You know, he shouldn't be the one apologizing." She said as she glared at Lucrecia accusingly.

 

She gives him a motherly embrace and rocks back and forth. "I'm sorry too, my son. I shouldn't have met Hojo or none of this would happened."

 

"Mother has been taking good care of me." He muttered.

 

She blinks. "Mother? Who is that?"
She teleports to her husband's side. "That's Jenova."

 

He nods his head.

 

She lets go and takes a step back. "But... she's a harbringer. How can she be a mother?"
She wraps an arm around her beloved. "That's common in our castle."

 

"I grew up thinking she was my Mother and she didn't mind."

 

She lowers her head. "Oh."
"She's now a great-grandmother." She places her husband's hand on her stomach.

 

He rubbed her stomach. "Relax, we can share him."

 

"But he's fond of you."
She purrs happily then feels a kick and laughs.

 

He purred as he wrapped his arms around her. "You too."
