"Speaking of food... anyone hungry? I am."

 

"I am too." "I'm still full. Besides, my stomach feels like it wouldn't be able to keep anything down for a while."

 

"What do you want? We don't have that many."
He puts the book away and picks out another.

 

He shrugged. "I'm not that picky." He snickered. "The fact that you ate Malboro tentacles when they served it as a prank at the cafeteria proves that."

 

She shrugs. "I guess you'll eat like the rest of us." She coughs up blood again.

 

He leaned her against him as he rubbed her back. "What's wrong?"

 

"Not sure. Seems like my body can't accept blood anymore."

 

"Mako can be a substitute."

 

"Please get a mako and fresh blood for our guest."
"Right away."
"How is it coming?"

 

"Almost done." He wrapped his arms around her, content to just breathe in what little of her own scent remained on her from his overpowering dark scent.

 

He teleports to his cousin with three bottles of mako and a bottle with blood. "Here you are." He said as he hands the mako to Sephiroth.

 

"Why'd you bring three?" He asked sounding a little confused, not used to having an obedient servant as he gave one to his wife.

 

She accepts it then drinks it quickly.
"I thought Luana is going to need it badly since I heard her." He hands blood to their guest.

 

"You're nothing like Cloud." He muttered as he gave the second one to her. He tilted his head as he studied Eberhart carefully.

 

She drinks it slower this time. "He meant my cousin is Cloud's replacement for being our puppet."

 

"He almost looks like Zack."

 

"Yeah, I get that a lot."
She quickens her pace.

 

"Whatever happened to him?" "Please do not mention him. He has committed...unspeakable acts against this family." He said as his grip around his lover tightened protectively.

 

She tightens her grip around him. "Just leave him dead... I don't want him back!"

 

He rubbed her back. "No one said anything about bringing him back, he was just asking what had happened to him."
