She lifts her head weakly. "S-sorry I was s-scared."
He nods before sitting down.
"Are we late?"

 

She licked her face. "It's okay. I was just playing." "Of course not." "What should I do now?"

 

"Have a seat you two." "Tell them the truth."
He lowers his niece so she can have a drink. "Your parents had to go to an important meeting for grown-ups. I'll be looking after you four in the meantime."
She transforms before sitting down in one of the last two chairs.

 

He sat down next to her. "Stay on my left side." "Cloud is dead."

 

She obeys since that is his sword arm and his Masamune is on his right.
He reacted by making both arms burnt.
Her body shook all over and her facial expression shows she's about to crack. "H-how? Daddy wouldn't d-die so easily."

 

He wrapped his arms around her. He pulled her close with a few tentacles.

 

She hugs Orochi tightly as she sobs.
"Now you see why we brought you in? His death had impacted you somehow whether you are part of his bloodline or not." She said as her eyes directed to her son. "One of our fears is that there will be a war-"
"Lead by me, I know." He directed his eyes to his grandpa. "Care to add anything else?"

 

He had his Masamune out in a flash and pointed to Malik's neck, drawing blood. "You will not survive the war."

 

"I'm perfectly aware of that." He pushes the blade away with a finger, drawing more blood.
"Our other concern is that Mei will cut ties from you, my son. A possible outcome is like time repeating itself."

 

His wings drooped.

 

"But it is up to your wife what her decision will be. That's all I have to say." "Anything else, dear?"

 

"Nothing I can think of." He said as he pulled her into his lap.

 

"Ok, you guys are dismissed."
She breaks away then wipes her tears.
Ronda sniffs Eberhart curiously.

 

He wrapped his right arm around his beloved as he held his sword with the other hand protectively.

 

"Who is this guy? He almost smells like grandma."
He teleports to the main library then heals himself.
She rests her head on her husband's shoulder.
"What do you want to do now?" She asks her husband.

 

"I dunno." He rubbed her back. He smiled softly to himself as he picked her up and walked out of the room. "Bring back an old friend."

 

She tilts her head. "Who?"
"Your parents should be arriving soon, children. I'll be happy to see you guys again." He said as he pets Ronda and Shihab's head.
"Thank you Orochi."

 

He didn't answer as he made a body and coaxed two angelic wings, one smaller than the other, out of it, then bit open his hand and added his blood to the body's. "Always a problem with disintegration, well, not anymore." He muttered to himself. He playfully bit Eberhart's hand and tugged on it.

 

"I'm guessing this old friend is yours."
He plays tug-o-war with his grandnephew. "Ok, just for a little while. Once they are here, I'm leaving."

 

"Don't worry, he won't turn out like Zack. He cares too much about his honor for that."
