He widened his eyes in fear and began hastily casting healing spells on her. "Please... don't..."

 

She smiles. "I won't. I just won't move again."

"You...fool..." He said half-heartedly as he continued casting healing spells on her. He shrugged.

 

"Papa, everyone is going to get cold. Let's hurry back inside."
"Please, let me rest. I'm tired."

 

"Leave me here." "So am I and you don't see me complaining about it."

She nods then escort the pups back inside.
She closes her eyes. "I'm not just killing myself, you know."

 

"Why did you have to do this?" He walked back inside.

 

"I thought it was fitting that I killed two birds with one stone and I should do the same for the other side."

 

"Make that three. You should know what I'll do once you die."

 

"I know. My recovery will be slower since I had a drink."

 

"Is there nothing I can do?"

 

"Either you can waste all your magic on me or let time do its work."

 

"Will you die either way?"

 

"I won't die."

 

He hugged her body tightly to him and continued casting healing spells on her. "Then I choose the former."
