She whacks the backside of his head, lightly. "Did you forget about my temper?" She asks in the same tone.
"I tried to tell that father of yours our home is our doom. Don't listen to what he says even though he means it."
"Ok mom."

 

"Of course not." He said as he rubbed his head.

 

She massages his back. "Please don't use it against our marriage. I don't want to take that path again."

 

"Why would I?"

 

She shrugs. "It can happen."

 

"I won't." He said as he tickled her neck with his antennae.

 

She giggles. "S-stop that it tickles!"

 

"I know it does." He said as he continued.

 

He follows after his daughter.
She laughs harder.

 

He stopped and growled mentally at Cloud.

 

She stops then wraps her arms around him. "What's wrong?"
He wraps his arms around her.
"Thanks papa." She sobs.

 

"Stupid, disobedient puppet!" He yelled as he morphed into his normal form.

 

"No, I need papa! Don't hurt him!"
"He may be stupid, but there's a reason for every action he takes."

 

He growled and started clawing the bedpost.

 

She mends the wood before turning her attention to her husband. "Lash out that anger on me, not my room."
"Is Mei going to be ok? She looks upset when she left."
"Ssh. I'm here."

 

His eyes softened. "I cannot harm you on purpose." She shrugged.

 

She embraces him. "Shouldn't you start a new life by letting him go and be more of a father?"

 

"I can't just let him go after everything that's happened between us and I doubt he could either."

 

"He lost a child and a grandfather of three. We may have all the time in the world to quarrel, but I doubt he'll come to you on personal matters."
She looks between the man and her mom. "Who are you?"
She places her daughter on the ground. "He's your mama's papa. You may call him grandpa."

 

"Unless I command him to of course."
