She nods.
She hugs her grandma tightly as she recognizes the voice.

 

She wrapped her arms around her protectively. "You may."

 

He opens the door. "I heard the wonderful news. Congratulations, mother." He gives the bride a kiss on each side of her cheeks then backs a bit.
She smiles.
"I would like to give you two a gift but it is so difficult not harming home at the same time."
"I'm sure there's something since you are the son of an artistic magic user."

 

"You know he'd kill you if he saw you kiss her."

 

"Is it wrong for a son to kiss his mother on the cheek?"
"You don't have to defend me, mom. I'm an adult now."
"An irresponsible adult." She corrected.
Sephana laughs.

 

She laughed with her. "It seems we treat our children the same way when they misbehave."

 

He cringes with the sudden uncomfort feeling of being the only male in the room.
She laughs lightly. "I guess that is true."
He leaves.

 

"Finished with her hair?" She asked Sephana. "Dad, stop changing forms." Orochi said to a nervous-looking bird halfway in a tuxedo.

 

She nods.
He teleports to his half-brother. "Is grandpa that nervous?"

 

"Does it look like it?!" He squawked.

 

His eyes soften with sympathy. "Just tell us what is bothering you."

 

"Isn't it obvious? What man wouldn't be nervous on his wedding day?"

 

"I would if everything is unprepared. Now, grandpa, is everything ready besides your nerves?" He jokes lightly.

 

He morphed into his heartless form and hissed at the joke. "The colony, Ocean, Stripe, and practically everyone else who lives here are preparing things as we speak."

 

He places his hands in front of himself in defense. "As one of the two who can read my mom's emotions, you won't get rejected. What in particular are you nervous about?"

 

"Lots of things. If something goes wrong in particular."

 

"I'm not a manager type." He turns to his brother. "You?"

 

"Don't look at me, I'm just the minister."

 

He sighs. "Give me a list of unwanted guests. I'll take care of those people."
