Something you hate about KH?

Stupid Camera uses the R and L buttons to move.
AND it's slow.

One of my buttons is broken, so I have to use R1.

 

Camera was annoying, and also the chest thing. That got annoying when I went scavenger hunting.

 

Sorry about being boring and repetitive. Anyway, in KH1 I didn't like how you couldn't skip scenes. I can't count how many times I watched that freaking "I am Ansem, the Seeker of Darkness!" scene. And it's almost a five minute long cutscene! I honestly left to get a snack sometimes. I also didn't like how in Hollow Bastion, when you were fighting the Heartless, Donald and Goofy always fell off the edge in the outdoor battles and made it a lot harder for you.

In KH2, I really didn't like the difficulty. After KH1, it felt like I was breezing through the game, which I didn't like. I also didn't like how they removed the platforming elements from it. I liked the platforming in KH1, and I absolutely loved Oogie's mansion, so it really bugged me how they took those out.

Anyway, sorry for this huge post.

 

I really hated the camera options in both games, and also Sora's voice in KH1 annoyed me a lot. I like his voice better in KH2.

i don't like the donald and goofy cutscenes much.Like an example:Your trying to have a serious conversation with an orginization member about riku or kairi.Donald and goofy jump in saying:''Hey leave him alone!''Or ''Were gonna stop you!'' Or something.It doesnt really make the game look serios if they are standing beside you.

 

1. Gummi Ships.
2. Not being able to skip cutscenes in KH1.
3. The camera in KH1.
4. Riku
5. A bunch of different Heartless, but mostly those Fat Bandits and their purple cousins... Large Bodies, I think?

 

Some of the dialogue, that can drive me nuts. It's so corny and cheesy and other words that are actually flavours if you think about it.

Like "I just wanted to see Roxas... He made me feel like I had a heart..." and "They didn't just take the ______, but the word ______ too!"
They annoy me ><

 

Oh god I forgot about that.

I agree wholeheartedly, I thought the script in all of the KH games thus far has been pretty awful and melodramatic. In CoM it wasn't so bad because you were just reading it, but when spoken aloud it sounded EXTREMELY corny.

I agree, they're so irritating. I wish you could permanently remove them from your party. That would kind of detract from the Disney aspect of things, but it just draws away from the game sometimes. :o

Other than that, I hated not being able to skip cutscenes in KH. There's nothing worse than losing to a boss with an incredibly long cutscene before it and having to watch it over and over again. Also those little dialogues that you had to click through. They were so random and long sometimes.

 

-Disney characters being cardboard cutouts of their real selves
-Poor character development, storytelling and dialogue
-Kairi & Sora in KH2
-Unable to skip cutscenes in KH1
-Org 13, none of them having any form of interesting personality
-Worlds being used over and over (Hercules, Aladdin)
-Sora being such a idiotic crybaby in KH2

 

My goodness, it's a wonder you like these games at all XD.

 

As you can see, I've kind of lost interest, and now just play them just to kill time. xD
Really, the ONLY video game I still play is Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. =p
Still... I'll never get tired of whipping arse alongside Donald & Goofy. No matter how tiresome and lame everything else gets.

 

I agree. I hate how some people don't try it because of it's having disney characters. I think camera angles are okay though people. It's not that hard. And gummy ships are annoying after you have been to a world once. I nkow you get the ability to warp but even that takes to long for a video and sometimes you go to the wrong place.

Sora's voice! IT'S SO ANNOYING! he sounds like a 5 year old instead of a 10 year old to me. His voice is way much better in Kingdom Hearts II.

 

you cannot really say that though sense it is the same actor doing the voice.

 

Yes, but the voice actor was around 13 when he did Kingdom Hearts, but was 18 when he did Kingdom Hearts II.

 

yeah haley joel osment most of you will know as the kid form the sixth sense is the voice actor and yeah he did sound wayto young back then for a 13 year old but when his voice changed so did soras and he sounds way better in the second game.

 

Oh, I didn't think that the time difference was that much but now that I look you are right. Never mind then. I don't think his voice is that bad in the first one though, unless you compare it to his voice now it sounds just fine. Nobody complained before #2 came out.
