SOLDIER Honor

Usually my RPs have long stories...and are usually a bit on the “complex” side. So...time to keep it simple. ....Kinda. This is FFVII based. Why? Because I’m bored and I know its story more than any other FF game.
And...I couldn't think of a better title. *Shrugs* Kinda bad story but unlike a few RPs I've seen, at least it has one. XD

Story

It’s been nearly 70 years since the last incident. SOLDIER had vanished from the world after the first years of peace. There was no need for humans with that kind of power. People only feared that with SOLDIER around, a member might go rogue like Sephiroth, Genesis, or Angeal. Over time, everything seemed to go well. Former members of SOLDIER simply lived their lives normally and later died of natural causes. Of course, without SOLDIER, there are some things that the world’s own security can’t handle. The planet has summoned WEAPONs once more(basically just random monsters in case you don’t know what a WEAPON is) to protect itself from…apparently nothing. The WEAPONs have randomly attacked any living thing so in order to keep people safe, several projects have returned. The most famous of which being SOLDIER. Of course, not just anybody can be put into SOLDIER. Using the remains of the old Shinra Electric Company building was modified to serve as SOLDIER’s own training facility.

Rules

0. Put “Condor” somewhere in your first post.
1. Godmodding and powerplaying…Well isn’t it obvious by now if you’re an RPer?
2. You cannot make your character related to people like Cloud, Sephiroth, Zack, the Turks, etc.
3. Have good grammar. You’ll be kicked out if I see something that annoys me. Don’t worry if you OCASSIONALLY mess up though.
4. No constant one-liners. Oh and don’t use *’s for character actions.
5. Fill out the OC form completely. D8<
6. I reserve the right to add more rules at any time. So no complaining.
7. Read invisible rule 0 which is above rule one. Highlight.
8. You have to make a preview post. It doesn’t have to be long. Doesn’t even have to be like an introduction for your character. If you don’t know what a preview post is, it’s basically where you just put how you RP by…well…RPing in the section listed “Preview Post” in the OC form.
9. Try and stay active.
10. Keep this RP PG-13. If you want to do “more” take it to PM. With the other RPer’s permission of course.
11. Remember, SOLDIER are still human. Bullets would really do some serious harm to one. Also, if you’re character gets seriously hurt, then don’t make them act like they’re not in pain unless they have a power specific to healing or something similar.
12. Your weapon can’t be any Buster Sword(although there’s only two in all of FFVII. The Buster Sword and the First Tsurugi). You can’t have Sephiroth’s, Vincent’s, or Genesis’s weapon(s). Be creative with your weapon. *Shrugs*
13. The SOLDIER First Class rule about personal equipment doesn’t apply here(you only need to know that if you‘ve played Crisis Core). Except with uniforms. SOLDIER Third Class wears a dark purple uniform. Second Class wears a dark blue uniform. First Class wears a black uniform and if they want, any personal attire(clothing/accessories). It's a bit of a confusing rule so I'll explain if you want me to.
14. I’ll only let two people join as SOLDIER First Class. Four as Second Class, then the rest as Third Class. You CAN work your way up but I’ll decide when you get promoted. Okay? And if you don’t start out in SOLDIER, you can become SOLDIER later on.

SOLDIER First Class

Username: Arch
Name: Red
Gender: Male

Weapon: Sword in pic.
Bio: Although he’s a little young to be a SOLDIER First Class, he’s proven himself time and time again to be an excellent fighter. The thing is, he’s not a leader and was only promoted due to his sheer physical performance on the field. He was one of the first new members of SOLDIER and joined because of a friend’s betrayal that nearly left him dead. His name isn’t actually Red but he tells everyone that because of his extreme lack of trust in anyone.
Personality: Overprotective, constantly angry, quick to act, can come off as cold.
SOLDIER Class: First
Powers: Physical abilities a bit above the average SOLDIER and can transfer power to any object or weapon, both making it glow and giving it…deadly properties.
Other: Wears a necklace with a silver cross on it.

SOLDIER Second Class

Name: Leon Black
Gender: Male
Age: 19

Weapon: A sword that's blade can be detachted and launched for a boomerang effect.
Bio: Needing work but being absolutly useless at most things he eventually figured out that fighting was the best he could do out of most. He came from a family that collected and stored old materia meaning he learned alot about Materia growing up. He is somewhat a materia hunter in SOLDIER but still a fighter.
Personality: Clumsy yet reliable at times.
SOLDIER Class/Occupation: second class (all the sillies go for first )
Powers: able to use Materia without a weapon/armour slot (cause they use weapon/armour slots like in the game right), Transformation into a monster similar to Vincents Galian Beast.
Other: condors go swoosh in teh sky
Preview Post: Leon dragged his feet down the corridor, he was heading to for the resting area. He was tired from the training the director pushed on him as punishment. "Man, that's the 5th time this week he gave us a surprise training session", he moaned as he stumbled into a chair and laid there tired, "Just because I slipped up on a misson".

Bio: Jewels felt it was her duty to become part of the SOLDIER project, since her father was in it before her, her family's honor being passed on. When she joined, many thought of her to be too small, or the thought of a SOLDIER being a girl, but Jewels continued, her family's name on the line.
Personality: Detirmined, Misunderstood, Quiet, Softly-Spoken
SOLDIER Class/Occupation: Second Class [lol I'm following you, Fayt.]
Powers: She has the power to reproduce two of her at once while she is fighting, but only for a short time. She tries not to use it. She also is still learning, but has some exsperience with Healing.
Other: Jewels doesn't like being alone, she likes being with someone else.

Jewels tipped her hat to the side as she walked towards the front door, realizing how long it's been since she's visited. She only knocked once to hear the giggles of her smaller siblings, opening the door.
"Jewels!" A girl yelled in a childish way, making Jewels smile fully. She hasn't done that in a long time. She then knelt down, the small girl running to her, hugging her with all the warmth in her body. The noise of footsteps came towards the door, making Jewels look up, letting go of the small girl.
"Hello, mother." She heard her voice chime, surprising herself that she could actually saying something at the fearsome site.

Bio: Having to live by herself for most of her life. She thought it best to help others. Echo's always been there for the help-less people.
Sharing her food and shelter. She decided to join SOLIDER in her quest to help others, but got more then she bargained for.
Personality: Very hyper and never takes no for a answer. Loves to help others instead of herself.
SOLDIER Class: Second Class
Powers(Max of 2): Uses Materia as a healing source. Still has yet to learn

Preview Post: Echo happily skipped down the long quiet corridors, humming a tune she's never heard of. "I wondering if there serving puddling with our lunches today."
She said thinkin' about the last time she had some pudding. Stopping in her tracks she thought deeply of those training exercises she should be doing. "Whoops." She said with a smile.

SOLDIER Third Class

Name: Lyanne Parker
Gender: Female

Bio: As an only child, her father had forced her to join SOLDIER. Although SOLDIER involves fighting, many have said her personality is a little too “gentle” for her to be in SOLDIER. As the years passed, she began to fight more and more. Although, there are times where she refuses to fight back.
Personality: Kind, caring, thinks of others before herself, shy, quiet and can be lazy at times.
SOLDIER Class/Occupation: Third Class.
Powers: Teleportation and can paralyze anyone with a single touch.
Other: Condor and she constantly wears gloves to prevent herself from paralyzing anyone.
Preview Post: Lyanne stared up at the ceiling as she walked down a corridor. She kept her hands behind her head, letting out a deep sigh. “Stupid training…” she murmured lowering her arms down to her side and lowered her head as well. She put her hands on her hips, thinking about seeing her family again. She stared down at the floor as she thought of leaving and going to see them. Hearing the sound of footsteps coming towards her, Lyanne raised her head, causing to interrupt her thoughts. As soon as she raised her head, she saw a few others part of SOLDIER walking passed her.

Bio: His older brother restarted the SOLDIER program but died a little over a year later. The director barely has a past. He was simply an engineer of “sorts” before the title of Director passed to him.
Personality: Calm, thoughtful, and what can only be described as an overall nice person although he is a little dull.

Weapon: Number of small knives hidden on her person, and one large curved sword.
Bio: She lives above the bar she works in, courtesy of the innkeeper, and usually works almost 24/7, having no other life. Otherwise she runs errands. Having been cast out by her parents when she refused to marry, she supports herself only.
Personality: Sarcastic, she spends her time alone, and stays away from people, guys in particular. She can be nice, when she finds someone in a similar situation, but that doesnt usually happen enough to make a long term friendship.

Preview Post: Aly tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, and went back to scrubbing the counter. Business was slow, as usual, in this time of day, so she did other chores that needed doing. Such as scrubbing the counter. Satisfied that it was clean, she stood up, put the cloth away, then went to the food storage, checking their suppplies to make sure nothing was rotten. Another slow day.

You can't exactly...go rogue and truly be SOLDIER. An Ex-SOLDIER would be the best term so I'll stick you in the Other section. Sorry for the delays guys. I've had a full weekend. XD I've been making out with Aur-I mean...Killing...stuff. With...my...muscles. Gr.

IC: Finally. Some time away from those second ra- An explosion cut off Red's train of thought. Of course, he was glad to be away from his own little "group" where he was in command of several second and third classes but they weren't exactly the most coordinated group, mainly because he was bad at training them. However, a Third Class SOLDIER beside him reminded Red that he was not alone on the patrol assignment. The lower class operative was sending a message for backup, although Red guessed that they would be alone. The two were sent to the last functioning Mako reactor. SOLDIER had learnt of a threat to tamper with the reactor and the director sent only two operatives. Red...and that Third Class who wasn't making himself useful.

Red ran straight for the main entrance of the reactor seeing as how the door had just been blown off. It was the middle of the night and he never saw a figure approach it. As he ran Red's cell phone rang(OOC: Shinra cells ftw? XDX). He answered it and slowed his pace, heading through the corridors. "What is it?" He asked.

"Get back to the building Red. We've got a bit of a situation here. We don't exactly have an army so...fighting off a couple of monsters is getting messy." Another member of SOLDIER said through the other line.

"Just let the others handle it! I'm a bit busy at the moment." He hung up without another word, surely the other members of SOLDIER weren't so incompetent as to let the (somewhat) new SOLDIER building take such a beating from any monsters. Besides, it's not like SOLDIER depended much on a single member...not since the days of Sephiroth. Geeze. Today's a hectic day...tomorrow better give me a lighter work load. I haven't gotten a vacation since I joined! He complained in his mind.

BIC: Red stopped moving, having reached a dead end. In front of him were two large metal doors. He knew that whoever had been around could never have opened and closed the doors without him having heard the slightest creak. Besides, opening the doors were already a difficult tast on its own. Taking a few seconds to look at his surroundings, Red decided that he just simply lost whoever had broken in. Did he just run away...? I was sure that person went this way.... He shrugged and took a step backwards, turning around and running towards the exit. He passed the SOLDIER Third Class that he had been sent with and shouted, "Just stay here!" While I go and see if I can't get some action over at the building...
