I cannot properly put my amazement into words.
Just...so much.
And it was so brilliant.

Next week is the season finale.

 

This episode pretty much redeemed the show in my opinion. I had lots of issues before but I'm pretty much willing to forgive all their trespasses up until this point now.

 

Amon is officially more badass than Tarrlok.

WAY too much **** happaned.

Not to mention SHIPPING BULLSHIT at the end of the episode.
Either they're gonna hold off literally EVERYTHING until season 2 or make up a whole lotta bullshit.

Honestly it has gotten to the point where I was just sitting there wanted to punch Mako in the face, and just have Asami and Bolin together because they at least are rational about who they care about SO THEY MIGHT AS WELL JUST AVOID THE ANGSTY SEXUAL TENSION between Korra and Mako.

Whatever Aang part was mad cool. Tarrlok part was anti climactic and I wish he would have done more evil before they put an end to it.

 

Tarrlock was literally only in the story at all to fall victim to the Worf Effect. His whole past and bloodbending deal was done so he was for all intents and purposes useless after that. I was actually really pleased that he got put on a bus this episode since he was basically clutter and he got to be used to build up Amon further. It's a win-win.

 

True, but I think it all happened too fast. I thought the entire blood bending at any time thing was an interesting concept, though.

 

It wouldn't have had to happen so fast if they hadn't wasted time on probending earlier. This is a case of them reaping what they sowed.

 

I liked probending. They could have probably cut out a game, but whatever. I just want to find out how Amon is hardly effected by the blood bending.

 

I personally liked it too, I think it's not as good as TLAB yet, But it's getting close IMO and I like how things are running, Tarlock should have been there for maybe one or two more episodes.
On the Amon blood Bending thing, I think its all in the mask, His ability to remove Bending, and most of his other ability's, and I think he really is a bender, and for a period of time I thought he was Tarlock and still have my suspicions /conspiracy theory.

 

We'll see what happens. I'm waiting on Al Capone Yukone to make an appearance, and I feel pretty damn confidant about how it's going to turn out.

 

I like to think that he's ALSO a bloodbender and was bending his own blood in order to fend off Tarrlock's bloodbending.

 

Well he obviously can't be if they were in the same scene together. Some theories are worth time, and are interesting, but that just doesn't make sense now. It could have had a chance two episodes ago, but eh.

If anything it is someone that is really shocking, or he might just be a new character altogether.
I think it would be hilarious to have like a Darth Vader/Luke Skywalker esc scene in Korra with Amon like "Korra...I am...SOKKA"
