Oh, I'm already introduced to Captain Jack. I must say, I think his character is rather... off-putting, at times, but oddly heroic and somewhat pitiable (And don't worry, that last characteristic is not a bad thing, I enjoy a character I can pity).

And Ugh, there's a plot twist in Season 6? Of course there is.

I must know what this plot twist is. I must! Nobody tell me, this is incentive to keep me on netflix.

 

I'm with you here. I'm almost there (halfway through Series 5). The twist is so close I can almost taste it...Y'know, if you could taste television, that is.

The Doctor doesn't die die (or does he? I will be like Moffat and leave you hanging on this one), but things get... touchy when Eleven steps in. You'll see later on.

Also, you will cry and be sad throughout your time with Ten. You will want to hug him but be unable to because he's not real, and then you will want to make things, whether it be art, fanfiction, role-plays or anything.
