The really funny thing here is that you're the one who really let me be open for the first time. You remember that night. On the bench. You basically forced it out of me. I was much more open from then on.

I would constantly be giving advice to people who were resigned to their fate.

All of you, take stock of this:

If an optimist and a pessimist are put in a situation, this is what will happen.

If the situation ends badly, then the optimist is happy up until the end and is miserable at the end, while the pessimist was miserable the whole time.

If the situation ends well, then the optimist was happy the whole time including the ending, and while the pessimist is pleasantly surprised that he was wrong, he was still miserable the whole time.

Pessimists live shorter lives.

You have no reason to be a pessimist.

In this thread: people who are resigned to fates tell each other how resigned they are.

Oh yeah, you asked me earlier what interests I meant. I meant like, video games and music and movies aimed at younger audiences...kinda....just, stuff other than politics and ethics and the like (though of course we do have discussions about these things too)
