Is it strange that I only play the game in 30-45 minute intervals? >_>
Either way, looks like I found a few reasons not to sleep anymore for a few weeks.

    I'm so proud ;D

I'm guessing you've at least gotten to the Blue Creek Apartments and met a certain-shaped headed fellow?

Hopefully you're playing the original, and not the "remake"

Naw, I'm still at the Woodside Apartments.
Thanks for the spoiler though :v At least I can expect Mr. Pyramid Head when I get to said Blue Creek Apartments.

I gotta say, I really like the game. The atmosphere is terrifying. I hate the lack of camera controls though.

I'm playing the Director's Cut on my PC.

I meant that you see him in the Woodside Apartments, but you could infer I meant there too.

I dunno what the key is for the PC, but you can kinda adjust the camera on the console versions.

The HD Collection didn't "remake" the games, simply try to port them with HD graphics. I'll admit it didn't do the best job, but I'd much rather play the collection than Downpour...

But I don't want to deal with him so soon ;~; I have trouble sleeping as it is.

And hmm, then there's probably a way to do it on the PC. At least, I seriously hope so. I hate it when I hear the static that says an enemy is coming closer and you can't move the sgojiaegiojaegio camera so you're just standing there waiting for it to come to you.

Should I play this game? *Thinking...*

Well, I was scared by Amnesia: Dark Descent, will this be less scary?

You should definitely play it. Its a standard of survival horror games for a reason. Personally, I don't think as scary as Amnesia, as you can competently defend yourself against threats, but it has its own sense of instilling fear where, even though you know you have a chance against opposition, you still don't want to walk down that damn dark hallway.

They also took the fog away. Reason enough to play the originals instead.

Pudge, see if the F key does anything?

...they didn't take the fog away. I played the collection, my friend played the collection, my other friends saw my friend play the collection, and we all saw fog. Its just been toned down. Whether or not its enough to warrant not playing the collection at all is up to opinion.

Here's what the fog looks like now. (also has new voice actors which, even as someone who played and loved the original version, thinks they're not that bad honestly)

I don't know much about the HD collection other than it's filled with bugs and and actually looks works, with considerably less attention to detail with the surroundings. I honestly think the originals look better (when played on the PC), than the HD collection.

I've yet to encounter any bugs :|

But I will admit, the originals looked better, though in the HD Collection, I've been able to see things I never noticed in my playthroughs of the original version of Silent Hill 2, like a painting or something in the apartments

Ohoho I'll be sure to tell you about it.

The mouse doesn't do anything xD It just helps you use the menu. Otherwise, it's worthless.

The F Key is the action used to ready your weapon to attack :c I'm starting to think there's no way to adjust the camera.
