    I watched the movie before reading the book, and I thought it was good.

    Then I read the books, and I hated the movie ever since. I mean, they completely cut out Ares!

    Erm... everyone was twenty when they filmed the film. >> Not to mention, they made Hades have a hooker. I thought the Underworld was suppose to be dim and bleak and stuff. Yeah, didn't watch it all the way through. By the middle, my forehead was red from facepalming a lot. I declared myself done.

    I don't think I've ever seen anyone on khv who likes a movie that's based on a book (except maybe HP, which is horrible imo).

    It was a decent movie and a decent book. Stop looking at the small things they changed. They have a reason for calling it "based on...", it's their own view of it.

    Grovers Black. No Ares. No clarrise. No Nancy. Don't even get be started on Annabeth. Percy, meh, not that bad. They 100% messed up the beginning. They left out the cabin. They didn't go searching for 3 pearls, the places they ended up at was just coincedence in the book, they were just going to Los Angelas, Percy got the pearls in the ocean. The entrance to the empire state building is through the elavator, not a door up high. The underworld was designed wrong. I get what you're saying, but these are just the things on the top of my head. Everybody has their own opinions.
