... and it tasted weird. It was a good weird but it was weird. My brother and I churned it by hand because the motor on the ice-cream maker died. It is actually very refreshing, especially in this hot weather Britain is having at the moment. And before you ask, yes it's blue.

    Pics to follow.

I say to follow in a loose fashion. I'm going to get another bowl in a minute, so I'll take them then.

I have an old recipe on my computer, dunno if it's the one they used though:

What I wanna know is how often you guys churned it and how the texture came out, because the only thing that's been keeping me from making it all these years is my lack of an ice cream maker :x.

I used that same recepie, and we used the uce-cream maker to do it, just using us instead of the motor to turn the paddle to churn it.

    Will post pics soon, promise.

Aw, I've kinda always wanted to make some (:

Shame you couldn't like, solidify it and set it on a stick. xD
I wish I could taste it.

Well, I could do that. Before churning it, you just put it in moulds instead of in an ice-cream maker.

By the way, I wouldn't recommend putting the vanilla in. If you much, only use a few drops.

You should always be careful with vanilla... I had a teaspoon of raw vanilla - I did not expect that it would taste so... foul. Spent the next minute hopping around the room going "Aaaaaaaaaaargh!" and then had to drink a lot of water to get the taste out.
    Anyways
I am soooo making sea salt icecream on a stick.
and then I'll give it to my friends when we hang out on top of the train station.

It's not that, it's the fact that is totally overpowered the saltt sweetness.

    It tasted better without it.

I'll keep that in mind if on the slim chance I actually decide to try and make it.

I remember when I made sea-salt ice cream a few years back.
I froze it on an aluminum tin.
...then accidentally froze the tin to my pants.
    It wasn't a fun day.
