...and I'm actually liking it. Spoiler It's opening, bgm, and animation is great. I also like that it's not fooling around. It's funny yet so very dark. I'm only on episode 5 but this may be the best anime I've seen in years, and that's a bold statement considering I finally got around to finally watching Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and Steins;gate recently and liked those. I just hope the other 20 eps don't trip up the show and get me to doubt it.
Just....resist the urge to read comments on Attack on Titan (in those comment sections underneath the streaming episode. Or Youtube comments in AoT related videos). Or searching Attack on Titan on Google and then going to Google images. Please. And don't worry, episode 25 had me squealing. In a good way. The show delivers.
I'm avoiding all spoilers for this show, I can usually resist looking at comments and info so I think I'm good. Last thing I want is to ruin the show for myself.
I used to say the show is good enough for what it is and that my main gripes were the animation style and the noticeable event modifications they made. Now that I've seen a few extended clips and the finale though... I'm glad I didn't put the time to watch it in.
Just finished it, but I have to say, the show kind of dipped in quality after those first 5 episodes. Though I must say the cliffhanger at the end did get my attention. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to see if I can find out which chapter of the manga continues the story on.
I'd read from the beginning. There are noticeable differences and several of the things that were cut in the show come up in the current chapters.
Thanks, I'll be sure to start from there. I'll keep that in mind. Edit: Caught up with the manga within the hour I started reading it. Now all I can do is wait...
