Definitely one of those games you feel incredibly satisfied with when you finish. As in, you blankly stare at the screen while the credits roll by and all you think is "This was a good game". For those of you wondering, I got the "Leave" Ending. Although I sort of which I got the "In Water" one after watching it >_>
Took you long enough >.> Amazing game. I'm playing through it with a friend (his first time) and I'm just reliving so many memorable scenes. The dead guy in the Apartment, the Otherworld Hospital, shooting Maria in the face cause I heard a monster and aimed too quickly... Anyway, I got "In Water" my first time, and...was actually ok with it. Its a really good ending, regardless of what happens. I got "Leave" my second-time. Thats what I love about the game: the story is so well written, any of the endings are satisfying. Important Questions: What was the area you were creeped out by? Favorite monster? Favorite weapon? Did you try to get Maria to dance for you at Heaven's Night?
Well sooorry. Excuse me for having a life ;~; Sorta. I was actually juggling some other games too, but I finally decided to finish Silent Hill. It's somewhat short, which surprised me. My playtime was about 7 hours. Anyway What was the area you were creeped out by? Hard to say, a lot of areas creeped me out lol. But nah. If I had to choose, I'd say the town itself scared me more than the specific areas, mostly because of the fact that it was extremely devoid of life, and you got the feeling of being truly alone. Sometimes I'd just be happy to see a monster or two haha. But even then, they were more like wind-up toys than anything. The idea of being truly alone is scarier than, say, bashing a monster's head in with a pipe xD Although if I had to choose a specific place, I'd say the Prison. Freaky as hell. Favorite monster? Answer is obvious. Pyramid Heads are awesome, mostly because they're indestructible. Favorite weapon? The goddamn shotgun. Best weapon ever. Pyramid Head's sword is cool too, but it's too slow for my taste lol. Did you try to get Maria to dance for you at Heaven's Night? YOU CAN DO THAT? ffffffffffff Anyway, I think I'll be moving to SH3 eventually. That should be fun.
FFFFFFFFFF- Silent Hill 3 is my favorite in the series :D And no, you can't get Maria to dance for you. Its an old fake cheat thingy. Kinda like getting a Mew in Pokemon Red/Blue, except it never works.
