Those glasses don't presuppose anything. They're a model of an old comedian that was extremely funny, he's just so old that nobody remembers who he is anymore. His name was Groucho Marx, and he had a huge nose, bushy eyebrows, round glasses, and a square mustache. He always told really lame puns, and so those glasses were invented as a sort of novelty item for fans. It just sort of caught on to the rest of the world. Anyway, that's why they're white, it's not racist at all.
I know of the Marx not named Karl. I knew they had something to do with Groucho. Thank you for the informative post.
