Skateboard or Guitar?

I'm getting both either way, but which should I get first? Oh, and the Guitar is electric with amplifier and I forgot what kind of skateboard it is I'm trying to get.

 

Get a skateboard and ride it while you still have summer. Geetars can wait.

Seems like a reasonable answer. Plus I'm gonna need some type of ride after work.

 

If you can actually ride a skateboard, then do so.
They are not too expensive,
get a cheap guitar though. An Epiphone isn't too bad.

 

I was gonna vote "Guitar" but this does make sense.

 

Skateboard first. And get an acoustic first. It's better as a first guitar than an electric. May not be as versatile, but it's the better way to go for a beginner.

 

I'd go with guitar. I just started playing it a week or two ago and it's a blast.

Skateboard might be better for you though, it all depends on personal taste. Go with your gut feeling...?

 

I'd go with skateboard because I think it's fun, but choose something that you would like to play/practice.

 

Well, since you are getting both eventually, perhaps one day you could play the Guitar while riding a skateboard.

 

Guitar = Instantly attractive to girls. You don't even need to know how to play it. Just carry it around.

But if you do plan to get one, start with acoustic. Kinda obvious really, but it's harder to hear notes with an electric if you don't get an amp, which means more money to spend. Also, acoustic = more skill necessary to play.

Also, do you need to plug in an amp to an outlet?

 

Not sure, since I don't own any electrics. I think amps are all outlet powered though.

 

But they have those mini ones too...

If this is your first guitar get an acoustic. Do NOT listen to anybody who says to get an electric for your first. Learning how each note sounds is key to guitar playing and you can hear it better on an acoustic.

Plus, you can buy an electric acoustic guitars. Those are pretty sweet.
