It's the 14th anniversary of the unfortunate attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001. As always, if you remember anything from that time (e.g., something you were doing when it happened), feel free to share! General discussion on the subject is, of course, also fine.
I'm 22. I was in 3rd grade. I have a good memory of certain events and many thing during my childhood but couldn't recall anything that happened that day. All my friends remember but me. We got let out of school early and people were crying apparently.
I want to just vent a little about how messed up the posts I've seen from some "friends" and family via social media have been, with the most disgusting one I've seen being this. On the other hand, I've seen great posts like this. Basically, I'm extremely annoyed that people are using today to toss blame at anyone except the extremists who carried out these attacks.
