Save the Heroes

Annaly pursed her lips for a short moment, she hated going into this area sometimes, as it sometimes recovered her lost memories which were quiet painful sometimes. "Trust me, you don't want to know. It's dark and it is frightening. I should know, I've been one a few times already. I don't know how the hell I am still alive though."

 

Leon raised his hat again, this time showing his face, "So your one of them", he said, "I've heard that a few Skulls had been recovered once they turned". His expression showed thought and interest.

 

"Yes, there are a few but not many. Last time I heard -or checked- there were only a couple including myself that had survived."

 

"Sounds like the same thing I heard, sounds like those Dream Catchers are getting more so maybe a way to free others will appear", Leon thought outloud.

 

"Possibly." Annaly replied. She started to get irritated with the hoodie she was wearing, so she took it off. She wanted her trench coat so bad at that moment, she loved that coat. "I'm going to stop off at my house to get my trench coat then I'm going to patrol around the city. See you another time." Annaly waved goodbye to Leon and walked off in the opposite direction. I'm pretty sure we will run into each other later anyway.

 

Leon walked away silently, he knew that a goodbye was pointless, they would run into each other but at that time would he look the same. He feared his own powers and cursed the way he was treated by his appearance when it happens.

 

Annaly made her way along the now deserted streets of the city. The only sounds around was the howling of the wind. Annaly took a right turn into a smaller more narrow street and stopped in front of the door of a house right at the end of the street. It was her house. As she opened the door she heard a shrieking howl echo in the distance.

 

Leon continued to follow the streets as he patrolled the area, A skull was killed here and others must be close. May be a hunting ground for them. Must investigate further. His coat blew in the wind and using one hand he held his hat on his head to prevent it from blowing of and to also stop enough wind from touching his skin. If enough of a certain substance touches him or effects his body temperature he would be effected.

 

Annaly walked out of her house and locked the door. She was now wearing her trench coat, which made her happy. As she started walking down the street again to begin her patrol she a Skull jumped down in front of her. This one too just stood there as if it were waiting for her to make the next move. What's with these guys lately...?

 

Leon continued to partol, he wasn't too far from Analy right now be he had no way of telling a Skull was near her, no noise, sights or screaming civilians to show him the way.

 

The Skull remained still, its eyes shining with the intent of killing Annaly but it made no move. Annaly took a small step forward, the Skull took a step back. Okay, now that was odd. A skull that was scared of her? "What on earth...?" At that moment the Skull lashed it's arm out at her, Annaly only just managed to doge it and its arm went smashing into a nearby lamp post.

 

Leon noticed a lamp post in the distance fall distance. Something was up and he was intent to find out what seeing how he was close by. He quickly made his way over to it to see a Skull fighting the hero he had just met. He flung his coat and hat off and threw them towards a safe place. Now to wait for his power to kick in.

 

Annaly jumped away to gain some distance, she got her bow out and strung an arrow in. Without hesitating she let the arrow fly through the air and embed itself in the Skull's left shoulder. It howled in anger and lunged forward at Annaly. She strung in another arrow and set it flying, this time the Skull smacked it away with it's over-muscled arm.

 

Leon was effected by the wind, it began to transform him. His skin became a pale green and his hair turned into a visible sort of wind that was always moving. His eye colours even changed to bright green and was able to manipulate the wind from himself. His clothes where specially made to stop his forms from destroying his clothes. They even turned a shade of green from this form. Instantly after the arrow had been smacked away he pushed his arm forward shooting a faily visible gust of wind at the Skull.

 

Annaly looked over at Leon and smirked. "I knew we'd meet again." she hollered. She threw her bow aside in a safe place and got her sword out. She jumped up into the air and landed on the Skull's back, she then placed the hilt of her double-bladed sword under it's neck and started to pull back, hopefully to try and pull it off balance.


ooc: *starts humming spiderman tune*

 

Leon glided infront of it being able to move like the wind. He pushed both his hands towards its torso to try and help knock it off balance. He would rather knock it into the air to open it up but it seems to be too heavy and also the hero on the Skulls back would prevent him.

 

"Not a bad idea you have there." Annaly grunted. She was using her telekinesis to help strengthen her grip on her weapon. It was proving pretty effective. "Try it, don't worry about me, I'll manage."

 

Leon swung one of his arms back and kept one infront, he swung them around creating a small tornado-like spiral under the Skull, attempting to launch it into the sky. He hoped it would go high enough for the two to get enough real hits on it and finish it before it lands.

 

Annaly twisted off the skull gracefully, she spun her sword around and got ready for the final blow she and were about to deal to the skull.

 

Leon flew up into the sky after the two and dived towards the Skull with one fist infront picking up force from the speed and adding wind to it to make him like a air bullet as he soar upwards for the finishing combo.
