Sandy Hook Elementary School evacuated after bomb threat

    A phone call this morning claiming there was a bomb at Sandy Hook Elementary School caused the school to evacuate to another nearby school building. Nobody was hurt, and a sweep of the school found no explosives. Police investigation into the matter is ongoing.

    My mom works at the district court, and the building has been threatened three separate times since she's been working there. They were each quite a ways apart, but they turned out to just be bluffs.

    These people are generally never serious, but they're just mad about something (e.g., getting a ticket and my mom or other employees not being able to dismiss it, etc.) and they know it will disrupt workflow, and that's why they do it.

    My god first the shootings and now a bomb threat? Is this school built on top of a burial site or something? Thank goodness no one was hurt or any bombs were found. But seriously, Sandy Hook needs rest from all this. They don't need another disaster on their hands.
