For the Riku piece, you should zoom in to something like 600% and made it so that the pieces that go behind his Keyblade match up perfectly. It is hard work, but pixel by pixel editing goes a long away when you want to make a line go behind something. I have done it many times.

The other seems way too cluttered but it still manages to be visually pleasing because the colors are pretty. It lacks flow, but it is pretty, so my advice is to simply change the coloration and density of your render. I would do this by duplicating the layer, changing it to Grain Merge (GIMP) and lowering the opacity to almost nothing, and then doing it again with another layer filter until I thought the colors in the render blended with everything. if it is a stock, then I would duplicate the stock layer and do the same thing, with the duplicates just above the stock in the layers panel.
