Blaine kept a close eye on everyone on the battlefield, though seeing Auburn use what he thought could've been her Semblance was rather unusual. He'd never seen an ability like that before, though it seemed to be quite useful, being able to maneuver quickly around an enemy.

Fortunately, it seemed that the other team had taken out their share of enemies, now team BLAU just had to catch up and they could move on to helping the rest of the village. Watching Auburn fire at another Beowolf, he joined in the barrage, taking aim and taking out said enemy that was fighting with Lazuli. During his fire, though, he was flung across the field by another Beowolf that had managed to get the drop on him.

"Ow..." He pushed himself up, unamused, and rushed toward it, slamming his batons into its abdomen and firing again, pushing themselves away from each other.

Uva took the hits fairly well, but it did fling her back quite a few feet and she felt the wind get knocked out of her. She stood herself up and held her stomach a brief moment before charging head first into the fray with a bit of a yell. The girl jumped up and stabbed at one of the beowulfs, who let out a death cry. Uva flipped backwards off of the beowulf into one other one and stabbed at it as well. Some fire dust shooting into the beowulf and blasting that one away as well. Uva hit the ground and said, "One more." under her breath.

    1/10 beowulfs left.

Cadoc honestly didn't get a chance to do much more than observe as the team made quick work of their enemies. He hadn't lifted a finger since he destroyed the Beowulf earlier, yet now only one remained. Activating the dust chambers on his weapons, he went to making quick work of it. First snapping at it twice with his whip, now engulfed in fire, as he slowly approached. When he was close enough with a good opening, he plunged the now icy Telson into the beast torso.

Qrow and Glynda had finally taken care of the last of the Grimm. Both groups ran back to the two. Glynda immediately turned to them and asked about their well being. "Is everyone alright?" Both groups had appeared to have no terrible injuries or wounds. A little worn out but nothing too serious. Before anyone could relax, a lone Ursa Grimm roared right above the group. As the lone Grimm landed, the area around the group shook a bit. The Grimm looked over at Arian and Auburn. The Ursa pounced over to the two and immediately grabbed ahold of the two and began to run off. "Crap!! Hang on you two!!" Qrow grabbed his sword and started to chase after when gunshots echoed through the area.

A woman had appeared on a rooftop of a building with pistols in her hand while sickle-like blades were underneath her barrels. The woman began running while shooting at the Grimm as it was still running with Auburn and Arian in tow. The Grimm had stopped for a moment. The woman had jumped down from the building and cut through the Grimm in one swift motion. The woman then caught Auburn before she felt to the ground while Arian had fallen flat on his face. The woman placed Auburn down and stood up, looking at Qrow. The silence in the area was so quiet that someone could hear a pin drop. She raised her pistol at Qrow before her voice spilled out from her mouth. "Qrow Branwen?" Qrow was silent for a few moments before responding. "Who's asking?" The woman walked up to him before showing him a chain with a cross and a diamond-shaped charm. A minute passed before the woman spoke. "The Diamond Crosses." Before Glynda could interfere, Qrow stopped her. He looked at her and shook his head before turning back to the mysterious woman. He then responded. "What happened to the man Ozpin told me they were sending? Where's Noire?" The woman raised her pistol and aimed at hi head before speaking once more. "You're looking at her, Branwen. Will there be a problem?" Qrow raised in hands before speaking again. "Nope. We're good. Just um.....go ahead and um....introduce yourself.....yeah..." Noire lowered her pistol before nodding to the others. "Name's Noire. I'm gonna put this in laymen's terms for you. Don't get on my bad side and we'll be good."

The final Grimm was down and it was a bit of a relief. She knew that she was as guilty as anyone, but her team didn't seem very good at communicating or working together as it seemed. Auburn herself was too shy to speak with anyone about anything. She barely managed basic introductions to her team, going further than that was asking a lot of the girl so it seemed. Scanning the area one last time to make sure that none were missed, Auburn turned her attention to getting back to the others.

Waiting a moment for someone else to start walking first, Auburn soon found herself following towards the others where they were greeted by Glynda. Auburn turned her attention fully towards Glynda as she asked if everyone was alright. Auburn offered a nod as she glanced at the others, not thinking to watch her back as they had already dealt with the threat. It was a mistake that she was not willing to make again. A Grimm jumped over them and looked her dead in the eye. Auburn was reaching for her weapons when suddenly she was in it's grip and it was running. Unable to get her weapon again she was stuck at the mercy of the Ursa. At least the professionals were here, they would save her at any minute. Her father trusted Qrow, she needed to as well.

Auburn was still trying to struggle out of the Ursa's grip when she heard a gun shot, but not from the direction that Qrow was running. Instead someone else was shooting at it. Auburn tried to make herself small, terrified that the mysterious shooter would accidentally hit her. Suddenly in a blur of movement and then she was falling, but only for a moment before someone caught her. It was all a blur for those first few moments. However then she was on the ground and looking at the girl who saved who, who was staring down Qrow. Auburn shifted uncomfortably, eyes to the ground as she thought about all that was going on. She was so stupid. She should have been paying attention. It was the one thing she was good at, fighting, and she messed up that too. Everyone was staring at her now and Auburn hated it.

After an awkward silence Qrow started to talk with the woman and things felt more tense. She seemed almost hostile and Auburn reached for her weapons, drawing them slowly, silently, in case things went bad. She was closest to the woman after all, and while it was clear her skills were greater than Auburns own, it would still give others more of a chance to react. As they spoke though, it seemed as if Qrow was expecting the woman in the end. Auburn was still confused who she was or what she had to do with anything, but loosened her grip on her weapons and quickly glanced between the two before taking a step back and out of everyone's way. Trying to fade into the background and forget her mistake.

»Of course he had to make a mistake and miss one. Anything to make him look back. There was a slight anger but it was more at himself but he still didn't like being shown up. "Yeah yeah, I got it. I knew it was there, it was fine." Arian tried to cover for himself, but it was a piss poor attempt given how proud he was just moments before. He tried to shrug it off though not wanting to face the embarrassment. "Come on, we should join the others so we can keep going." Arian encouraged heading back and taking up a place next to the rather pretty but shy girl from the other team.

»As the groups joined together one more grimm popped out of nowhere. Apparently Glynda and Qrow didn't do their job properly, they must have missed one on their side. Arian was too busy mentally blaming them to stop the Ursa before it grabbed him and the girl who was standing beside him. Arian for once was speechless, maybe because he was too busy panicking in his own mind to form words. Unable to reach for his bow due to his arms being pinned, Arian was really left with few options of what to do now. He could scream and curse at the thing, but that would look uncool. Arian's ears bent down as he worried though his tail whipped around trying to hit the Ursa, though it couldn't do much damage. Thankfully help soon arrived in the form of a very attractive woman. She managed to defeat the Ursa, but he fell flat on his face.

»Swiftly getting to his feet he brushed himself off before smiling. "Nailed it!" Arian claimed as he looked over at the woman and winked at her. He opened her mouth to say something else but shut it as she addressed Qrow. Well this was going to be something wasn't it. Arian didn't know how to deal with the situation, so instead he stood there looking pretty, since that was what he did best.

"Yeah." Lloyd replied, striding ahead of the group to lead them back into town. In his irritation, Lloyd suspected that he had come across as a great deal harsher than he had intended, but Arian needed to learn. If they were in danger, everyone needed to be at the top of their game. Taking hits was acceptable, and even likely, but being unaware of your surroundings was a quick way to an early grave. They soon reconvened in the town centre, and everyone seemed mostly alright. Not that he expected Qrow or Glynda to struggle with a few Grimm. They were professionals. Before anyone could get words out, there was a roar and a blur of motion as Arian and Auburn were snatched. Lloyd's hands flicked to Fire and Brand and he drew them, ready to leap in pursuit. Gunshots echoed across the town square and it stumbled, then fell as a mysterious woman cut the creature down. That was bad luck. How did they all miss that thing while they were clearing the Grimm out?

Lloyd would have put his blades down then, but then Arian and Auburn's 'rescuer' put a gun to Qrow's head. He listened to the conversation intently. This was one of Qrow's contacts apparently, but this Noire didn't seem like the above board type. Certainly, the Diamond Crosses weren't a name he'd picked up in Signal. Was there a relation between Qrow and them? He did wear that awkward cross around his neck... But perhaps not. He didn't seem to know her and if they were part of an organisation, then they didn't show it at all.

"Thanks for rescuing my friends and all, but I can't say I feel comfortable with someone who put a gun up to my teacher's head." Lloyd pointed out, blades remaining in his hands. "Going to keep threatening the group of armed and dangerous individuals in front of you, or are we good?" She might be here to help, but he was not going to relax while this woman had her weapons out. She was a threat, and he didn't fancy letting anyone else get hurt today. If Qrow or Glynda weren't going to defuse this, then he was just going to have to show her that she did not have the advantage here. He'd seen Qrow at Signal. The moment that trouble started that sword of his would be out and she'd be down for the count in moments. Not to mention Glynda. As soon as she disarmed herself, he'd happily hear her out.

Everyone from both teams had been able to reunite without too much issue, so they should be able to head back with no trouble at all. The roar of an Ursa quickly changed that mindset and with its tremendous weight when it landed had caused the ground to shake, making it harder to instantly retaliate when ran off with one of his teammates. Arian too, but he wasn't much of a concern for Lazuli. By the time he could grab hold his weapon, the grim was already out of range of his swords gun mode.

Some strange woman had arrived, having dispatched the Grim that had carried off Auburn and Arian. She'd called herself Noire and was the one that Qrow had been waiting for. Which did mean that she was relatively on their side. Relatively was the key word there as both her introduction and how she'd placed a gun to Qrow's head said other things about her. "Now, now, maybe we should egg her on until after we've made sure that our teammates are okay." Lloyd did have a point, but Lazuli didn't think that they, with their varying degrees of experience, could take on someone like her who was specifically sent here to ideally be of some assistance.

Dubhán rejoined his temporary team as they had slain the final Grimm, the count had been off, he had seen they had missed one but had been unable to act in time to stop it from attacking Lloyd, although the team leader was able to get out of harms way without problem, dispatching it quickly afterwards. He stood with the team but still away enough to indicate he wasn't a true part of the team. He would work with them yes, but he wasn't a part of their team. While some would disagree with his them and us comparison, it was true while they all fought on the same side huntsmen fought in their own teams. He was fine with whatever assignments he got, be they on his own or as part of a team.

As the team jogged back to Qrow and Glynda, Dubhán brought up the rear keeping an eye out for any more stray grimm. As they arrived he remained wary of his surroundings. Glynda was asking whether everyone was alright. While he himself had been attacked by a beowulf it would take more than that to keep him down. The others seemed to be in similar situations as his as he scanned the group. However he was caught unawares by the Ursa that grabbed both Aryan and Auburn. He still had his weapons in hands and set off after them. He was however unable to catch up with the Ursa before shots rained down from the rooftop and a woman slaughtered the Ursa with ease, leaving Dubhán staring for a moment in awe. Such ruthless power. Her attire reminded him more of a bandit than anything like a huntress. He kept his short bladed weapons in hand as the woman and Qrow spoke.

Dubhán added the name Noire to the face in his mind. Although he felt like her other words were wasted breaths. The woman had come out of nowhere and while she helped them and Qrow apparantly expecting them, he was a little uneasy because of her reminding him of bandits. He wasn't the only wary person here, as expected of another man outside of the Kingdoms Lloyd too was wary, understandable given the circumstances with the woman aiming a gun at Qrow's head. Dubhán simply stalked towards her back, should it be necessary they should attack like a wolfpack, strike where she couldn't protect. He shot a questioning glare at Lloyd wondering what he thought he was doing, sure he had a point but still not a good idea to piss someone like that off. He had seen the raw power the woman had but he figured in a concerted effort on all their part they might stand a chance should it be necessary.

It seemed that the mysterious Noire had swooped in all primed and ready to save the day. What a fortunate turn of events for them... for once. She talked about not getting on her bad side, but her treatment of Qrow and Arian seemed to indicate that Braden was already on her bad side, on account of being male. Then again, he was being pretty quick to judge himself, so that wasn't really fair. Maybe she just had a reason to dislike the two of them. Though he couldn't see one given. Sure Qrow had assumed her gender before hand, but that meant that they hadn't told him, and it was fairly common to assume an unidentified individual was one's own gender. Therefore, Qrow had been left free to make the natural assumption.

Surely this Noire wasn't an entirely unreasonable person, right? It would be pretty impractical to dislike and disregard orders from superiors just because they might be male. Then again, she didn't know what kind of organization the Diamond Crosses was, or why they had sent one of their agents to Qrow, so... he was thinking too much. He had too little to go on to assume her entire personality, so instead of provoking her further like some of the others, he stepped forward with his standard friendly smile.

"Hello miss Noire! It's very nice to meet you! My name is Braden Cadell." He made a quick bow as a show of respect. "People call me Cadoc, though. Thank you for saving us!"

Easy enough of a response to formulate. Now to analyze her reaction.

As the last of the Grimm were exterminated, Blaine allowed himself a moment of respite before joining the others in rushing back to Qrow and Glynda. The disaster wasn't over yet, but it seemed that they had managed to help mitigate the worst of it with their efforts. Blaine couldn't help but feel glad; First day, fight off a few deities. Second day, they'd leveled down to fighting off a few measly old Grimm. He couldn't complain about that.

It seemed that their troubles weren't over yet; An Ursa managed to slip by their radar and had swiped two of their classmates--Huntermates? Not like they would be in school anytime soon. "Auburn!" He rushed with the others, but the intervention of a newcomer quickly put his worries to rest. The stranger, Noire, had just took down an Ursa in one swipe when it took a whole team of them to kill just one. The power of a true Hunter never ceased to surprise him.

That being said, Blaine wasn't sure what to make of the new huntress, if she even was one. Something about her seemed off; He could've been completely wrong, but Noire didn't seem like a typical Grimm killer to him. And already, she'd gotten on a few nerves of some of the others, having putted a gun to Qrow's head. It was nice to see that atleast one of them wasn't so offput, though. Following Braden's example, he smiled, too, and nodded. "And I'm Blaine Carmine."

Noire had turned to the others as they were instigating her and introducing herself. As Arian winked at her, she rolled her eyes, clearly annoyed and not interested.“Thanks for rescuing my friends and all but I can’t say I feel comfortable with someone who put a gun up to my teacher’s head.” He paused, blades still in hand. “Going to keep threatening the group of armed and dangerous individuals in front of you, or are we good?” She had raised an eyebrow at Lloyd while the others were still speaking. As they had finished, Noire went silent for a few moments. Within the blink of an eye, she had swept her feet across Lloyd’s, knocking him to the ground. She then held his arm against his back while she held her sickle against his neck. “I don’t know. Are we going to keep instigating the woman with her sickle to your neck?” She then looked up toward the others. “Anybody else want to egg me on?” Noire got up and placed her sickles behind her back. She pulled out her scroll and began reading off from it. “Which one of you is Uva and which one of you is Aalis?” The two named raised their hands. She walked over to the two before looking at her scroll. “I have orders from Ozpin that you two are to head back to Vale to help Ozpin with the survivors.” The eyes of the two individuals had widened before nodding their heads. Noire continued. “Professor Goodwitch is also needed as well. There’s a plane at waiting for you three at the landing strip. He needs you three there as soon as possible so I would suggest you head out now.” She then turned to the rest of the group. “As for the rest of you, Ozpin has reassigned your teams. Team BLAU will now be Team LABB and Team LAVA will now be Team VLAD. Leaders of the teams will remain the same. If you got any problems…..suck it up and live with it.” Noire put her scroll away as she finished her message. Glynda walked up to Uva and Aalis as the three got ready to depart. She then turned to the group and spoke “Everyone be careful out there. Remember to not let down your guard, even for a second.” With that, the three left for the plane heading to Vale.

Qrow had then spoke up. “Alright everyone. We need to discuss our next plan of action.” Qrow pulled out his scroll and continued. “If you didn’t notice already, Makani and Fiametta have left. They left this morning. Reason being, in order to release the Four from whatever spell they’re under, we need to go to each of their temples.” He then turned to Noire. “Noire will explain a bit more. The Diamond Crosses know the stories and legends behind the Four more than I do. Noire?” Noire stepped up and spoke. “If we want to save the Four, we must first defeat the opposite sub-guardian of their element. Each of the sub-guardian carries the relic of the temple they protect.” She paused as she slowly paced around the group before continuing. “For example, if we want to save Lady Agni, we must first beat the Sub-Guardian of Lord Caspian, retrieve Lady Agni’s relic and place it back in her temple. And so on and so forth with the others.” Noire paused again. “Plain and simple.” Qrow then chimed in. “Right now we need to find the temple located in Mistral. That’s our top priority.” Qrow opened up his scroll and gathered everyone around it. Noire then began pointing to their next destination. “Because we are in Mistral, the temple we’re gonna be looking for will be the temple of Caspian, Guardian of Water. The temple lies beyond the forest that’s just west of us. Oh. I forgot to mention.” Noire placed a hand on her hip. Qrow raised his eyebrow as he waited for her to continue. “Each temple has a few trials to keep itself protected so keep your eye out for anything out of the ordinary.” Qrow closed his scroll and placed back into his pocket. “We better head out now before it gets dark. If you have any more questions, ask me or Noire. Can’t guarantee will have answers for all of it but we’ll do our best. Once you’re ready to go, let one of us know. Gather the supplies you need, we’ll meet up back here once you’re done.

The situation was ever getting worse as the crazy woman who saved then knocked down one of the students, holding her weapon to her neck, then dismissed two of their teammates. Auburn watched in tense silence, what the hell were they getting into with this woman? Why was Qrow trusting her when she was acting in such a way, yet he was trusting her regardless and it didn't sit well with Auburn. At least the woman had some useful information.

So they were to travel to temples, defeat sub guardian's and bring back relics to the correct temple it seemed. That wasn't too hard of a task she didn't think. Would they really need all of them there to do it? Two teachers and eight students against one person seemed a little much, but if they were to split up, perhaps they would get things done faster? Auburn wondered if that was Qrow's idea, but it hadn't been stated yet. She opened her mouth like she was about to talk but stopped herself. It was a simple enough plan, if Qrow hadn't said it he probably thought of it and dismissed it as a bad plan anyways, there was no need to embarrass herself like that. She was already embarrassed enough as it was. Thumbing her phone, once more she considered heading back to her father. She still didn't really know what to do here, but she had stayed so far, they couldn't afford to lose yet another person.

»"Remind me to never get on her bad side." Arian mused as he watched how Noire responded to Lloyd questioning him. Arian walked up and offered Lloyd a hand up as soon as Noire backed off to explain everything else they were to do. "Are the Sub-Guardians hot? Please tell me at least one is hot. I mean if you are taking away two of our attractive party members you got to provide more." Arian stated as he looked at Noire, she would do fine too, but still he would like to know about such simple things. Answer or no though he wandered off soon after to collect his supplies, not that he had much to collect, but he could use a break.

Noire turned to Arian as he spoke out over the Subs. She cracked her knuckles as he finished his sentence. "Is this some kind of joke to you? All of Remnant is in peril and you're looking to hook up with some girl?!" She grabbed his shirt as she scowled at him before he could walk away. She honestly couldn't believe what she was hearing. "What do you even have to say for yourself?! Huh?!" Noire was ready to punch Arian at any moment.

Dubhán stood as some others spoke up to the appearance of the new person, they were supposed to work with someone like that... He made a split second decision to not act when Noire threatened Lloyd, yes she threatening a comrade and it was an entirely unreasonable reaction on her part to do this, but he knew that if he acted in defense of Lloyd, he'd not only achieve nothing but pissing Noire off even more but he'd also be getting his own introduction to her fighting skills and having seen how she took down that Ursa, he'd rather not be on the receiving end of that sort of strength, as she got up he walked over to Lloyd offering him his hand to help him up. As he did he listened to what this operative of the Diamond Crosses had to say, first of all Glynda, Aalis and Uva had been reassigned and Dubhán wanted to walk with them as he was still the solo operative under Glynda and the operation with team LAVA had been temporary even if a member left. However before he could Noire had gone on and told him he had been re-assigned by order of Ozpin himself, orders were orders especially when they came from Ozpin himself. Apparantly the diamond crosses knew more about these guardians and Dubhán simply listened to what was being said, it was odd to him it worked with opposites. Now being part of former team LAVA Dubhán felt a little annoyed by Arian's antics, Noire had a point in asking him whether it was all he could think about. "Noire, what sort of supplies are you thinking? Rations and water are obvious, a piece of rope never hurt anyone, any other suggestions?" Dubhán asked.

Lloyd thought he was fast, but he wasn't faster than her. Not even close. He was on the ground, and her weapon was at his throat. He instinctively brought up his defensive Aura, but even that wouldn't save him for long. She had honed her skills well across her career as a Huntress... Or worse. He remained silent until she removed the weapon from his neck and got off him. He took Arian's helping hand and dusted himself off before nodding to Dubhán who had come over as well. He looked over at his old teacher, but Qrow did nothing. Said nothing either. His fist tightened at his side. He couldn't blame the others for not doing or saying anything, but Qrow? They were supposed to be colleagues right? Surely he could have said, or done something? He shook his head and took some deep breaths, trying to listen between the furious heartbeats that pounded in his head. So, there had been some team re-organisations? At least they had Dubhán and a clear objective now.

But they still had Arian, who still hadn't learned the right time for his jokes. Even though he didn't approve of the way he talked, he wasn't going to stand there and let his teammate be pushed around by her. He placed himself between the Faunus boy and the Huntress.

"He's making a joke Noire." Lloyd looked her straight in the eyes fearlessly. He saw how she operated crystal clear. Aggression was written all over her. "Arian makes bad jokes, but that doesn't mean he's any less committed to saving Remnant than you and I. Let him be." Antagonising her further might not be the best idea, so he brought up his Aura and tensed his muscles in preparation for something to happen.

»Lloyd wasn't the first person that Arian had thought would help him when Noire got pissed, but he did and Arian took a step back putting his hands up like to surrender."Chill out, I mean no harm. Yes I care that it is in trouble or I wouldn't be here. I don't have to be here you know. If I didn't care I would have taken the path my parents preferred, but here I am. Now can I go get ready?" Arian snapped back at her. He wasn't impressed at how Noire handled things, he was rather annoyed when his jokes were turned into violence when that was not the intent.

»Turning away, Arian stormed back towards the inn, while he seemed mad, his ears were flat on his head, almost like he was more worried than anything, the tail tucked close to his legs. The boy walked back to the inn without a word, collecting his stuff from his room trying not to let the emotions show, though what he kept hidden from his face couldn't be hidden from his animal like features. By the time he left his room to rejoin the others, he had forced a goofy smile back on his face, his ears perked up a bit, but his tail still tucked ever so slightly.

Heading back to the inn, Auburn really didn't have much stuff to collect, she just needed the space. They had sent two people home, two people they didn't need. If they didn't need those two, then they clearly didn't need the man power. If they didn't need the man power, then why was she even there? She didn't fit in, she didn't belong. Everyone seemed to be starting to get along, but no one took a second look at her. She faded into the background like she was nothing. Perhaps she could fight, but only after years of training with an actual Huntsmen, this other kids, they were like naturals. She could never keep up as soon as they trained more. She wasn't ever going to make it that far. She had already failed as a grimm managed snatch her and she had to be saved by some other woman. It was proof enough that she wasn't good enough.

Entering her room she threw the few items she had into her backpack, looking down at the last message from her father.
"I am sorry dad. I can't do this anymore." She said softly shoving her phone in her pocket, making sure that her weapons were secured properly, before turning around and walking out of her room. Auburn kept her head down while she shuffled towards a side door out of the inn, not planning on even going close to the main party of she could help it. At least she wasn't going to walk straight passed them on her way out, though Auburn wasn't trying to hide the fact she was leaving. Her head was down as she walked, letting her hair hide her face a little bit. Only once did she look over her shoulder before reaching for the door. She was convinced no one would notice though, it was hopeful that someone cared, but she knew they didn't. Why would they? She hadn't done anything that would be worth caring about.

Cadoc watched silently as events unfolded before him, all the while wondering... was Noire just an imbecile?

Resorting to constant violence as she was, he couldn't imagine that doing so in response to the question of whether or not she could be trusted was competent. The answer that had basically amounted to "Because I'll kill you if you don't" couldn't exactly have garnered a lot of trust amongst the others. It hadn't really won any points with him either. He stayed silent though, just smiling his usual smile; after all, letting people know he was observing them only made it harder. He sat back as Noire went off on Arian for making one of his jokes, and he was pretty sure she was going to literally explode if anyone decided to push her much further. Dubhan wanted to know what kind of supplies they'd need, and Lloyd was rightfully ticked with her hair-trigger fuse. Yes, he would certainly be watching this one closely... the way things were going, she was either a base barbarian or evil.

Oh, and he was on a team now. That was important too, he supposed.

No sooner than he proposed to not antagonized her, Noire had pretty much displayed his point about as perfectly as he could've expected. Each team would be having one of their members head back to help with survivors, thus rearranging the current teams. The longer in which he watched Loyd interact with Noire was proof that she wouldn't be the easiest to work with, but they would managed somehow. Well hopefully his team would, he could quite say the same for the other one.

Lazuli had walked back towards the inn with a relaxed look on his face when considering all that had recently transpired. It was only natural for him to make such an expression, even more so when there was something on his mind. Sub Guardians, temples, relics. Not to mentioned whatever trials awaited them while trying to get to said temples. Sure was a lot to being handed a bunch of kids that had just been assigned teams. Lazuli still had his misgivings, but had long since decided to trust Professor Ozpin's judgment with this.

At the slow pace he had been walking, there wasn't anyone else around when he had just gotten to the inn. That was what it looked liked until Auburn had walked right past him. It was odd since she certainly didn't seem like the type to randomly go out and walk around Mistral, that was his thing for sure.
"Going somewhere?" That should grab enough of her attention to get her to stop walking. Lazuli had saw the backpack that she had on her back and was curious as to why she had it on. "I doubt you're planning on going to find the temple on your own."

Auburn was just reaching for the side door when she heard a voice and spun around to see Lazuli standing there, the guy who had tried to talk to her on the ride here. At that point their conversation was short lived, not really having time to talk to the boy. Why would he care now though? Just as she was trying to leave now she was worth talking more to apparently. Slowly Auburn turned to look at the other boy, her fingers fidgeting, intertwining with her shirt as she looked at him quietly for a moment, clueless on how to approach this.

"I-I was just leaving... getting out of your way before I could make another amateur mistake and put more people in danger with it." She informed him in her small quiet voice, barely looking up at the boy. She kept her eyes down turned, like she did most of the time she had been there, confidence clearly wasn't her strong suite. "I was just going to find a way home, leave the hero work to my father. He is the real hero, not me." She added turning back to the door. She wondered what her father would think of her leaving. Would he be upset with her? He had always supported her, more than she could ever repay him for. He was her biggest idol, and she always wanted to be like him, but now...now she thought she could never be good enough, never live up to that legacy, so why even try?

Noire let Arian go as Lloyd stood in between the two. "He's making a joke Noire." He looked into her eyes as he continued to speak. "Arian makes bad jokes but that doesn't mean he's any less committed to saving Remnant than you and I. Let him be." Arian had then spoke up clearly looking angry. "Chill out, I mean no harm. Yes I care that it is in trouble or I wouldn't be here. I don't have to be here you know. If I didn't care I would have taken the path my parents preferred, but here I am. Now can I go get ready?" Noire took a few moments to calm herself down before nodding her head. Arian stormed off towards the inn. Dubhán had then walked up to Noire. "Noire, what sort of supplies are you thinking? Rations and water are obivious, a piece of rope never hurt anyone, any other suggestions?" Noire rubbed her forehead for a few moments before answering. "Mainly rations and water. Don't know why you would need a rope. Just stick to food and water." She took a couple deep breaths before turning to Lloyd. She thought about what her next words would be. She didn't want anyone to be on edge more than they were already. "Listen. I'm not good at knowing what's a joke and what's not. I apologize for what happened earlier. I'm not good with first impressions or talking in general. I'm more of a serious than carefree type of person. So...sorry." She crossed her arms as scratched her nose awkwardly. Arian had then rejoined the group. Noire called out to him. "Hey. I'm not great at apologies but I'm sorry for how I acted earlier. I don't have much of a sense of humor." Noire scratched her head as she delivered her apology.
