    My map cards aren't full.

As a matter of fact, I don't have that many.

Strange, I always needed to dump map cards once a floor or more because I got so swamped with them.

It can be any floor you want, try heading back to the bottom if you want enemies you can mindlessly plow through.

It was that way for me, too, on my first playthrough on Beginner Mode.
The walkthrough is being done on Standard Mode.

    Anyway, I'll try that. Thanks!

So my walkthrough has been postponed for quite a while now.
I think what I may do is just start it over in Easy Mode.

There's just no way I can get past this -- it's impossible.

    That's not true, Amaury.
    Training makes the perfect.

That battle is a tough one, but not unbeatable. If I did defeat him on Proud Mode (almost cheating =S), you can defeat him too!

Lots of Dodge Rolls and high/zero cards, just use 0 Cards when Riku uses a sleight. I would Dodge Rolling and just attack him when I get a Card Break chance, so keep up pressing square button and trying to keep out of his attacks (this is the hard part). I just think that counter-attacking with Card Break is more affecting, because his chances of doing the same decreases.

The way I defeated him is kinda of cheating, so if you really want to keep the walktrhough, save in a difference Slot and use my strategy. When you feel that you're prepared, defeat him without my strategy, load the file and defeat him.

Though I think that a bad thing to put on a walkthrough, here goes, just if you want to keep up and think about defeating him normally after.

Simply... set your deck to Strike Raid > Ars Arcanum > Strike Raid > Ars Arcanum > Strike Raid Ars Arcanum > ... Cure > Cure > (hi) Potion...

This is kinda cheating but that's how I defeated him. =P

Anyways, good luck man! I know you can defeat him!

    That's the problem! I can't make preparations.
I have no Moogle cards to try and get 0 cards.

    Seriously...?
    OMG...

Well... When I want a damn card that never shows up, I use that... Roulette Room?
If you have it, save, create this room and go out to find useful Map Cards! If you think you haven't get good results when the room is emptied, load and try again.

This is what I do when I'm not cheating with the game lol jk! It was the first and only that I used it. ...I swear...

Remember that you can re-create a room by pressing triangle button on it. :=D:

This may be a little late but I just beat him and I'd like to give advice, NOTE: you must have learned up to Blitz.
    Use this deck:
1st row(This whole row is of 5 cards) Kingdom Key, Three Wishes, Wishing Star
    2nd row, same as above
3rd row(this row is all 5's), Three Wishes, Wishing Star, Olympia
4th row, same as row 3
5th row, (5) Olympia, (5) Lady Luck, (4) Kingdom Key
6th row, (all 5's) Lady Luck, Lady luck, Lady Luck
    7th row,(5) Lady Luck, (8) Olympia, (2) Kingdom Key
8th row,(all 8's) Kingdom Key, Wishing Star, Olympia
9th row,(all 4's) Kingdom Key, Kingdom Key, Kingdom Key
    10th row,(4) Three Wishes, (4) Wishing Star
Keep pressing your sleight button (I use RE:CoM so mine would be triangle) and you'll kill him in under a minute. Well maybe a tiny over a minute.
