Revelations (Re-made)

"No! You don't understand!!" Maddie swam near them, "Cory...he was threatening to kill Harley, provoking Forrest whilst doing so! It's not Gabe's fault and besides, It was only hypothetical, you know...to scare Cory off..."

 

"Yeah I doubt that he would've done it!"

 

Gabriel turned a hard icy glare on the kids, "I know you want to stand up for Gabranth, but threats in our family are not taken lightly, no matter who's fault it is." He looked back at his son, "You threaten another student in this school Gabranth, I'll make sure you don't see an ounce of free time during school days here."

Gabe nodded, "I understand, sir. Won't happen again." he lifted his eyes to his fathers, "I want to know why I can't be who I am."

Gabriel sighed as if he'd heard the question a hundred times, "That's your mother's type of question, Gabe. It's not my place to answer that. You want an answer, call your mother." he turned him around and pushed him toward the pool, "Now go swim. I have duties to attend to."

 

"I'm really sorry.." Maddie sighed as she swam away from Gabe.

 

Forrest moved away from the edge of the pool,keeping his eyes on the water,He could've had a dad like that...he probably did somewhere....one who was married with 'new' babies....his mother was probably some druggie now....on her own with a flock of kids,struggling to pay bills and whatnot,how many half-siblings did he have? Or where they still together? He doubted that very much,from what the orphanage could tell him his parents had been around seventeen years old when they brought him in. No chance were they together anymore....He was probably the result of a drunken one night stand.

 

April had been grinning though that soon went as Gabe got into trouble, "Sorry" She muttered as he returned, although she wasn't quite sure why she was apoligising.

 

Maddie felt immensely guilty, why did she have to go open her big mouth?

Cory teleported next to April, soaking wet from freezing cold water. "W-why are you apologising?!" He said as he caught April's apology, "It's all Miss Milkshake's fault!"

 

April frowned, "I-I don't know. Miss milkshake?" She asked with a slight curiousity.

 

He pointed at Maddie, mainly at her breasts.

 

April shut her eyes and shook her head, although a slight smile still crept on to her face. "Boys" She muttered.

 

"So, Cory....getting 'friendly' with April are we?" Rita said as she swam up to them.

"Why do you insist on being the bane of my fun!?"

 

April looked at Rita, a little overwhelmed, "Um, hi miss"

OOC: Have you noticed how much April has changed from the origional Reverlations?

 

OOC: Yeah, why so?

BIC: "Enjoying school so far?" Rita asked as she bobbed up and down in the water.

 

OOC: Well, I made her shy to explain why she'd been quiet when I'd been away and I can't suddenly change her personality now but she will probably gain confidence as she becomes a part of the group and return to how she was in the origional.

April smiled, "Yeah, it's been good" She looked so innocent and naive, but there was something hidden beneath her naivity.

 

"Made any friends?" She eyed Cory warily as he pointed to himself

 

April paused for a second before saying, still with a smile, "Oh, um, yeah, I think so"

 

"Who?"

"ME! who else?!"

Maddie drifted over to them, "Me, I guess..." She tried to give Cory a dirty look, but she couldn't shake her sad look.

 

"Yeah" April said, her voice quiet as a whisper, she wasn't sure who would class themselves as her friend, so she was glad that they were saying they were her friends, "that lot"

 

"That's good, though, I'm not sure about that one...." She indicated to Cory, "What about you Maddie? enjoying school?"

"I....suppose....." She sighed

Rita gave her daughter a troubled look. "What's wrong? you weren't like this in maths..."

 

April looked at Maddie, concerned about her new friend and just wanting her to be okay.
