Return of the Keyblade

"Yes... that's my mother..." Suki said sadly. "It makes me happy though that you say I look like her." she said, giving a weak smile.
"The other half had my father on it... but one of the kids burnt it years ago... I could only save the half with my mother... and now... I've forgotten what he looks like...
but... I'm happy I at least can see my mother. I should feel blessed that the whole thing didn't burn away..."
Suki looked to the exit... "With this... I can leave here... and be content with never coming back. I've got nothing else of value, other than my mums undying flower." she said gesturing to the blue flower in her hair.
"As I said... I don't know if I'll ever be able to come back here... even if it does become possible... I wouldn't want to...
... Let's go." she said heading towards the exit, ignoring the jeers from the other kids.

 

Watching Suki go out the door, Nathalia realized that she had it rough. Growing up in an orphanage like this.....it would make Nat go insane. But, Suki....she had lived here all her life, and survived the tuanting, teasing and bullying. As she walked out the door herself, Nathalia looked the kids laughing. "Wow, you guys are just sooo mean, picking on a girl like this." She jumped on a table, facing the whole orphanage. "Just because you had a rough life doesn't mean you can pick on my friend like this! You've made her life miserable, I'm sure! Burning her family picture, teasing her, making her cry, but for what?! You want to feel the pain that Suki has been through?" Silence.

"Yeah, I know you don't! Because each and everyone of you is afraid to get bullied yourself, you think you can run around hurting people? It doesn't work that way. Growing up here, even I would go crazy from you guys! Picking on someone makes YOU look weak, it makes all of you...look pathetic, you know that? So if you guys can't find a way to stop the pain....Leave. Just leave."

By the end of her rant, Nathalia had tears fall down her cheeks. "Stop hurting one another...before there aren't any of you left."

 

"Nathalia!" Suki called out.
She had heard Nathalia's rant and came rushing back in to see Nathalia standing on a table, in tears.
"...It's okay... you don't need to say anymore..."
She approached the table and offered Nathalia a hand to help her down.
"Yes... they did make my life miserable... but it wasn't just them. It was the adults too. It's not their fault...
It's mine... I've always been different... Everyone could see it.
...But. That's not important anymore Nathalia. The fact is... I'm not miserable anymore. I don't need to be."
Tears fell down her own cheeks, but she gave a genuine smile through them.
"The fact you would go so far is more than enough... and... I can't believe that anyone would care enough to do that... but... I'm fine now. I will continue to be fine." she had a look of determination, despite the tears in her eyes.
"Let's go, Nathalia."

 

"Okay, let's go. But...it isn't your fault, it's theirs." She said, a faint smile on her face. "You're a good friend, and since I'm really against bullying, I had to rant a little there. But, being different isn't a bad thing!" She called, loud enough for the kids to hear. "Anyway, I'd do anything to protect my friends."

 

"I know... thank you."
She helped Nathalia down, and they both left the orphanage. The kids still in a stunned silence.
Suki wiped her eyes once outside.
Suddenly her eyes opened in shock as she remembered something important.
"Nathalia! The ball!"

 

"Oh, crud! You're right! We gotta get to the train station!" She yelled, running toward the train station. "Jason is gonna kill me!"

 

Suki ran with her.
"Don't worry, he won't kill you. We'll make it I'm sure.
Besides, he likes you, I'm sure he'll be forgiving." She said smiling at Nathalia.

 

".....There you go trying to make me blush again! Suki, you just love to see my cheeks turn pink, don't you?" She teased, not seeing who was in front of her. WHUMP! "Ow."

Jason held his forehead. "You...couldn't watch where you were going?"

"Well, excuse me! But, I'm not the one who doesn't warn a girl when she's trying to find you." Nathalia held her own forehead, a little dizzy. "Well, where did you come from?"

"The train station, but its closed now, so we can't make it in time for the ball. I'm sorry you had to spend your Mummy."

 

"It's nice to see you smile like that when I mention his na- LOOK OUT!" *whump*
... "Are you two okay?!"
She needn't have asked though as the two were already enjoying one of their little arguments.
At the realisation of the train station being closed. "Jason... I'm sorry... We got attacked by Heartless on the beach and ended up here. Then... well... I had to take care of a thing or two... I'm sorry... It's my fault we're going to miss the ball." she bowed her head to him.

 

"No, it isn't. Suki, I need to teach you a lesson on how to blame the dude for something." Nathalia joked, giving Jason a soft punch in the arm.

"Yeah, it isn't your fault Suki. I bet we could make it time....if we leave at 3 A.M. tomorrow." Jason agreed.

 

"Wait! We could get back now! I think... maybe." Suki said having a sudden idea.

 

"How? I mean, the train is like our only way back out of here." Nathalia crossed her arms. "Wait...are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

 

Suki smiled as Nathalia caught on.
"That guy the other day, mentioned something about our Keyblades right?"

 

"Yeah, what'd he call them? Gliders? Oh, well." Summoning her keyblade, Nathalia threw it in the air, ran toward it and jumped on. "This is even better than skateboarding, snowboarding, or surfing." She giggled, letting Suki hop on.

Jason did the same and made his go next to hers. "So, we just ride our keyblades like this?"

"I guess." Nathalia shrugged "We gotta go!"

 

Suki simply hopped on Nathalia's glider, she could have tried summoning her own. But... well, it wasn't necessary this time.

 

As her glider took off, Nathalia grinned. Flying was a bigger rush than any sport she had done. It was....exhilarating. Laughing, she looked back at Suki. "This is awesome!"

Jason felt the same as Nathalia, who pulled ahead of him. "Oh, you want a race?" He called.

"Suki, I'd hold on to something if I were you. It's about to get very competitive."

 

"It is! It's amazing!" Suki said, also feeling the rush.
At Nathalia's warning, Suki held onto Nathalia and called out to her over the rush of wind around them to tell her "I'm ready when you are!"

 

"Whoa" Seo said watching them take off in there keyblade gliders. Maybe I can do the same He thought tossing his keyblade in the air but all it did was hit the ground. When it hit the ground a portal opened up.What's this He thought walking into it.


OCC: I go to my cousin house and I fall behinded

 

Nodding, Nathalia put her glider into full speed. "Whooo-hooo! Jason is going down!"

"No I'm not!" Jason shot back, putting his keyblade into full speed too.

 

"He's catching up Nathalia! Hurry!" Suki yelled, while laughing. The flight leaving all of their troubles and pain behind.
Um... now that I think about it... didn't we also leave that Seo guy behind... oops...
Suki looked to see if she could see him, but they were already too far away.
