"Not like I even know what you'd eat. Except Lego." She teased

 

He made a sour face. "I'll eat anything but toys"

Lana smiled at him before giggling slightly. "Fine, I'l see what food I can find."

 

"Thank you."

 

Lana smiled again as she wandered over to the phone, picking it up and calling room service. After a couple of mintues she came back and sat down at his feet again. "Just some cake and stuff, all they've got right now really."

 

"Thas is fine"

 

"Not like I eat much else anyawy." She said dismisively"Kinda a sugar addict at times, guess that's what being female is."

 

"L was the same."

 

"Huh?" Lana asked looking up at him.

 

"all L ate was sugary stuff I heard"

 

"Hmm... Maybe name and title isn't all we had in common..." She mumbled, biting the end of her thumb

 

"It would seem so"

 

"Hmm..." L sighed thoughtfully.

 

"Have you found out anything about that?"

 

"No... I haven't found out anything since I joined. Not even background stuff about him, it's all... well hidden to say the least. If it's even out there, I know I'm pretty secretive about my past... To be honest I've never spoken to anyone about it... Maybe that was a fourth thing we have in common." Lana sighed, resting her head on her knees which she'd brought up under her chin. In an almost foetal postetion.
