Lana rapidly fell into to step just behind him.

 

"I'm going back to the hotel..."

 

"Kay sir..."

He sat in a chair in his room and played with a rubixs cube

 

Lana was hanging around in the room too, simply looking around. The lack of anything else she was capable of doing was driving her insane.

 

He put the cube down and looked around while layig with his hair

 

"You alright sir?" Lana asked, in an attempt to break the silence she was finding so awkward.

 

"i am fine."

 

"Good... Good..." L mumbled, rather disapointed that she hadn't got to much of a response.

 

"you sound disappointed"

 

"I'm not sir." She protestsed

 

"Alright" He rested his head on the arm of the chair and got out the Kira lego person from his pcket and looked at it

 

Lana sighed slightly, watching Near trying to work out what he was thinking.

 

"I'm so close but then Matt had to show up." He sighed.

 

"Matt's just making everything more complicated. But that should make it even more rewarding when this case is solved." Lana smiled, wandering over to him.

 

"Hopfully. This is getting somewhat fun I just wish that so many people didn't had to get involed"

 

"Yeah... If over a hundread thousand hadn't of died then maybe it'd be more fun..." Lana muttered, sounding slightly bitter as she sat down on the floor near Near's feet.
