Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

"Right. You and Mellody will finish with your plan?"

 

"Yeah, first thing in the morning we'll set off." She agreed as she pulled to a stop, looking back at him and smiling as she gently squeezed his shoulder.

 

He looked up at her. "I trust you'll make sure I won't have to go on air?"

 

"Of course, we have that all sorted out." She smiled. "Not exactly going to risk loosing you am I?"

 

He smiled. "I've figured that much out."

 

"Good." Lana nodded, patting shoulder slightly before carrying on to leave.

 

"Oh and by the way." It as safe, there was no cameras in the room and it wasn't bugged, the members made sure of that. "My real name is Nate River."

 

"Nate River..." Lana repeated as she commited it to memory. "Nice name. Better then Lana Lawliet..."

OOC- I think MSN messed up again.

 

ooc *hangs head* I hate it

"Thanks but I like your name, number 13." He said, remembering that he hadn't called her that in a while. "You should know not to tell anyone else though. Most of the other members don't even know. Expect for the ones I worked with in the last Kira case, of course..."

"Thought you'd forgotten about that." Lana smiled "Been a while since you last called me that. And I know not to say. I may be clumsy but I'm not daft."

"I won't forget. It's my special nickname for you. And I thought so but I wanted to make sure. So see you later then."

 

"Yeah, see you later Nate." Lana grinned before leaving.

 

He smiled before turning back to the computer to finish hacking the hotel's phone and securty systems

and sorry that it tool so long but now anyone may talk to Near

 

Lana sighed as she closed the door behind her. The smile still strong on her face, he loved her. Well, he didn't use the exact words but it was close enough. No, it was better. Better then she could of even dared to hope for.Though, it didn't change the fact he was still dying... And it was with that thought Lana fell asleep in the seat she was sitting in. Looking as though she was a tourist taking a nap in an airport. Which of course, didn't lead to the best of dreams...

 

ooc Ima skipping ahead to moring then

He was walking around and saw Lana sleeping and a chair and went over to her. He poked her as in trying to wake her up.

 

"Bugger off... Sleeping..." Lana mumbled batting Near's hand away.

 

"It's Near." He said, hoping that might help

 

"Sh*t!" Lana exclaimed, jumping slightly and falling from the seat.

 

He couldn't help but to laugh a little. "Didn't you say you wete meeting Mellody today?"

 

"Heh..." Lana laughed nervously as she picked herself up off the floor. "Yeah... She knows I'm here so I'm waiting on her..."
