Kyra then got her bumper pack of checklists out, and she ticked off:

• Experiencing Kira's Killings live.

Then she looked at the second thing on the list.

• Checking local houses.

And then she smiled, right before thinking of ways she could possibly allow them to enter in without telling them she's a detective.​

 

"I p*ss you off or something? And that's Theory told me she would when she felt the time was right."

"Should be about time to wake up in Cali." Theory mumbled to herself, flicking the televison off and turning her head set on. Placing at a call to Kyra.

 

"No I'm perfectly fine."

 

Kyra felt a buzz in her pocket, and flicking out her mobile phone, she found it to be Theroy calling her, and then picked it up, saying enthusiastically, ''Hey! How you doing?''​

 

"You sound a little angry..."

"Hiya!" Theory smiled, standing up on her bed. "You survive the night then? No molestation charges being pressed I hope?"

 

She then moaned a little, and then said, ''I'm fine but I might have to put a restraining order soon if he doesn't sort out his vile behaviour. I just about survived the night, no thanks to the perverted freak who wanted to... yeah... you know... Ahh lets get off the subject! I'm thinking about checking the local's houses...''​

"Yeah..." Lana nodded.

"Sounds like fun, can't really give much advice. Having never had any experience with perverts since Mello and he was like 13 at the time. And even then I was just a observber." Theory giggled. "Sounds like a plan."

 

"I am sorry then."

 

''Wow. Mello was a pervert?!? That's actually hard to believe... Ok, so... I have an idea, however, how on earth am I to go into people's houses without uncovering the fact I'm a detective? Act like those scouts who gives out cookies? There's so many ideas, but most of them aren't that convincing...''​

"Coz if I did I'm sorry, I was just playing..."

"Well, he was as a kid. He must of grown up I expect, but he did grope this one girl. Claimed it was an accident. As if in my opinion. You don't just accidently grope girls like Juliet was. Anyway," Theory said, giggling slightly from her rant "Claim to be checking their gas meter or something?"

 

Kyra walked around the road, wondering which house to start off locating where Kira might 'supposedly' live.

''I suppose that might do the trick, thanks Theroy!'' Kyra said, smiling to herself, ''Why hadn't I thought of that before?''​

 

"No worries. I am not offended."

 

"Sure?" Lana asked, still pulled a little back from him.

"No worries Kiddo. And sometimes you can't see the most obvious thing that's right infront of you. Even the best make that mistake."

 

Teepo got out of his house with a panda plushie, and stared into the road. As it was usually filled with children laughing, he felt awkward that it looked deserted. However he went to the end of the road and sat down on the bench, giggling to himself about his own thoughts.
