Return of Kira: Part Three-Confused Souls

ooc: (begins biting demmies ear in an attempt to devour it)

bic: "Excellent. Well then, we should probably be headen inside then. At the moment, your health is extremely important, and I don't want to take any chances what-so-ever. I hope that you won't mind the special treatment as well" he said to her. knowing of how osme people did not like special treatment

"No, I don't mind." Blondie smiled, this treatment was entirely different to how she'd been expecting to be treated. But luckily it'd become better then it was in her mind. Though, she couldn't help but be suspicious. Maybe because she had an idea of the kind of man Matt was, maybe because she'd spent far too long with the SPK. A place were everyone was suspicious of everyone else, how the organization hadn't imploded on itself already was beyond her.

"Alright." Lana nodded, grabbing hold of Near's hand and running off infront of him. An air of childlike excitement emintating from her. It'd been so long since she'd really done anything like this for fun. She'd been to a lot of cities since joining the SPK, but when she'd been there it had always been for work reasons. Spying on someone, looking around for evidence. Not what you could really call fun. And even before joining MI6 before she'd even heard of the SPK she'd barley set foot outside of Kent. So for her being out in the city itself as herself, as Lana and not as Luna or as L, was simpley fasicating to her. And, she observed as she looked back at him as she pushed on ahead, the entire experience was made better by Near just being there.

 

"Excellent" he said, opening the door for her. "ANd of course, if anything is required, then Ryuk will be serving you" he said to her. He obviously had not even spoken to Ryuk about this, but, he knew that he would be able to make Ryuk do it no matter what.

"Whoa what's the rush?"

 

Blondie nodded and stepped through into the hallway on the other side of the doorway. Turning back again momentarily to pull her suitcase through with her.

"Sorry." Lana giggled slowing down a little bit. "It's just... like... a mix of wanting to get to see everything, even though I kinda know that's not possible, and a mix of knowing the longer we're out here the more chance we have to being recognized or seen or something..." She sighed, the last part had been praying on her mind for quite some time now. It wasn't her own life she was worried about, she was less important then Near. Both on her own personal level and to the world in general. After all she was just some clumbsy girl who'd some how proved her intelligene to become 'L', he was the only person most people, including herself, believed could be capable of catching Kira. The last thing she wanted was Near in danger, but then again with the case looming over them like a great black storm cloud and Near being sick anyway she didn't know if they'd actually ever get the chance to do something like this ever again. Just something normal couples did, something that got them away from the others, away from the case: something that was just fun.

It was around half past nine when Theory noticed. She'd been relucant to believe that it was true. The pattern was so cold... so heartless. She refused to belive that someone, even someone as pyschotic as Kira, even someone as pyschotic as Beyond Birthday, could be capable of that. Roughly one twenty-sixth of the global population dead or dying. Her first instinct was to of course inform Near, but she had her reservations about it. It was still Luna's birthday after all, and judging from the excitement in her eyes it'd been the first enjoyable one she'd had in a long, long time. Also Theory was almost certain that this was basicly their 'first date' something that really shouldn't be tainted by the harsh reality of the world that the SPK and it's agents existed in. And the only thing that Near could really do was think and try to figure out where Matt was. Something that Theory could do herself if she tried hard enough, wouldn't come as easily to her as it would of done to Near, but she didn't want to disturb them. Instead she decided to inform the rest of the SPK and have them help her work on it rather then worry Near and L. So she sent out a message to the other agents: Jen, Mellody, Kyra etc. Asking them to meet her in their main-control room that they had set up upon arrival in the UK.

Then as she flipped her phone shut she began to wonder: Where did Blondie actually go? And it's rather suspicous that she suddenly decided to leave at the exact moment in time that all these deaths occured. Something's wrong. Really wrong... And even Near had found it hard to come to trust the girl... She pondered, fiddling with her skirt as she did so. I'll try and track her down and see what she's up too. If it's Kira-related like I think then I'll use it... If it's just her having a normal life like she said then I'll just be nice to her and say I was worried about her seeing as it seems she's going to be a single mother...

 

"There's no need to be sorry, perfectly understandable. But pulling on my arm, that kind of hurts."



Jen was eating in her hotel room, laying on her back with her feet and head hanging over the sides of the bed. Then her cell phone started to vibrate. "Oh darn..." She sighed as she put her hands on the floor and the fell onto the floor, landing on her feet. She then stood, little lightheaded at first, and walked dizzily over to her cell that was on the table. She read the message from Theory and muttered, "About time," before going off to meet the others in main-control.

 

Matt let out a small sigh for a moment, as he directed her through the house. "Now, as long as you are in this hotel room, I am afraid that you will have no choice but to take it easy. As long as you are pregnent, I need you to be at the utmost health" he said to her.

ooc: lol. I think I just found somethen that can involve kyra. >: )

 

"I'll be fine, I'm not even all that pregnant just yet. I still have a few more months to go before I'm really heavily pregnant." Blondie smiled "I just look like I've gained a couple of pounds at the moment, which I expect I have the amount I've been eating..."

"Oh, sorry!" Lana giggled. "I'm just kinda hyper at the moment." She explained as she took a couple of steps backwards to slacken the pull on his arm. Unwilling to actually let go of his hand.

Theory had already made her way to the control room, sitting on the edge of the desk that Near usually had behind his chair. Swinging her legs slightly in the playful manner that she always did. Still deep in thought about how she could track down Matt, they had to do it. And fast. Suddenly she was snapped from her daze when the door to the room clicked open and slammed shut. Quickly she looked up.

"So, we finally have a case?" Linder enquired as she took a seat on one of the office chairs around the room, crossing her legs in a lady-like manner and resting her hands gentley upon her knees. "Or rather, something to do with this case?" She added with a slightly snarky tone.

"Yeppers." Theory nodded. "We have a rather large amount of evidence now. We can track down both major Kira's now I belive. And the American Kira just seems to of well... buggered off at the moment."

 

"Thank you, and I noticed. But you being is a good thing so there's no need to say sorry." He said as he started to walk a bit faster to keep up and to keep his arm attached.


Jen had entered the room while they were talking so she quietly closed the door behind her, not to interput them.

 

"None the less, you are the one who is going to help my dreams come true, and for that, I have to make things as easy as possible for you" he said to her in a gentlemen like voice. "Though I will have to hurry up, for I will have to continueing killing off the B group soon"

 

"Decided to get a little more organized on how to kill the criminals then?" Blondie asked. "What you doing?"

"Well if it hurt you then I should really appologise." Lana said, slowing down slightly more as they approached the Millenium Bridge.

"Heya Jen!" Theory grinned, waving at her. "So, that's me, you and the Ice Witch then." She giggled. "Just leaves Kyra, she's due back anytime soon. And Saffy."

"If the stupid girl actually gets herself out of her self pitying gloom." Lidner sneered, the comment from Theory had just pushed her to the point of extreme annoyment.

 

"I decided to make a real move this time. I wanted to get a bit more advanced then just killing criminals, so now I am also going after potential criminals as well, who I can easily deem to be future criminals just by their records. Even if they are not criminals, they are people who act as if they are criminals of society, by simply using the loop holes of the law. It is quite a simple process really." he said to her dully

 

"Don't worry, I'm used to it."


"Hey." She said with a smile to everyone in the room.
