Because other people could just 'accidently' make it lower.

And please, stop spamming. If you want to become a Premium that badly, either wait for someone to give you rep or surf the forums and post.

 

Yeah strange how that just seemed to happen as well...

 

I am still for that it should stay at 100 points.
Like Kitty said a lot of changes have happened in the rep list and suddently someone gained very much rep.

I think some people deffinatly dont deserve premmium, but somepeople do. ANd thats whats going to be very hard for the staff to decide who does and doesnt.

 

I used to work at a forum where reputation could be used to gain a higher status such as premium.

Unfortunately, the forum had its own IRC chat room where everyone was just asking for rep. If this website has one, or a Flash Chat, then I'm sure people do it there too. Everyone had a massive reputation count. Eventually, the administrators just made it so you had to reach 1500 posts to gain a Higher status, and reputation was no longer a factor.

 

Actually, we do have a chat room, but no one asks for reputation since it's against the rules and you'd get a warning for it.

 

That chat room isn't really apart of the site. It was created by a member so we could just chat. Plus there isn't always staff on the chatroom so people can really talk about anything & get away.
