That's kinda what I mean. Instead of introducing bland characters at once, pace it out a bit more showing their personality before moving onto the next one. And the structure of a fake organisation in a fictional setting needs to be more clear initially.

    You learn from strange places.

Too busy learning about the Sengoku period. Chosokabe clan being a particular interest.

    Fine.

It was a gamble, I admit, but it was a gamble made nonetheless.

    Not just Chosokabe.
Mouri, Date, Uesugi, Oda, and Matsunaga. Somewhat Tokugawa and the Toyotomi.

Do not lay your cards down until you know your opponent well enough to make such gambles.

I still like naruto. I like it a lot more with Shippuden then with the first stuff though. And the manga is really good, they're doing some really nice stuff now.
I also do bleach and naruto, and I'm glad they're still going. Those are 3 of the very few books that I read the most.

I think you're going to get yourself killed one of these days, the way you operate.

Shoot me down if you must, but I have to say I'm fond of Naruto, still. If for nothing else, than for a farther introduction into anime and manga.

I enjoy the legend of Keiji Maeda personally. As well as the rivalry of Uesugei and Takeda. And the Oda clan's rise from upstarts to supremacy.
Together with his retainers like Hideyoshi who came from humble origins to leader of the country.

I like the period too. Sengoku Basara helps that interest.

I watched/read it all from the beginning, then onto Shippuden....until about Ep/Ch 360 or something....I didn't have the patience anymore, I got tired of it. Maybe I'll finish it one day, but I still really love it. I'm just too busy or it to be enjoyable anymore. Of Course, Shonen Jump really saved me from that alot of the time. O_O" Still though...I'd like to see one day what happens. I hate spoilers! Yet I watched Eureka 7, which only has 50 episodes, like 400 times and I never get tired of it. xD There must be something wrong with me...
