Remember that MEP we did

you know, back near when I first joined the site or whatever? Or was it in the fall? Oh I don't remember. Either way, why don't we do another? I thought it was pretty fun, and it'd be nice to be able to do something like that again before i leave and might not have the time for it. Sure that's in about 2 months or so, but once I leave for volunteering I'm gonna be working 8 hour shifts during the whole week, if not 9 days in a row, at best when it's busy. What do you guys think?

Not sure when during the summer, but I'm sure Stardust/GS can clarify on that, haha.

 

aww, but that's the problem. I'm likely to leave this summer around the end of june. I'll be leaving for a camp in the Red Wood Forest in California for a year. I'll have my laptop with me and all, but I just wanted to do something before I might be swamped for a year. I mean, I'll probably be able to get on, but it's basically a full time job. Besides, it's been too long since we did something. If not an MEP like last time, maybe we could find a song and everyone does a few lines. I've seen some people try that before, but it never finished.

Well, I'm not really sure about the official MEP, but I do know that RvR is holding AMV Battles in the Video Projects section, so you could possibly participate in a few of those before you have to go. Or you could do a short mini-MEP and get some member participation, similar to what Gabr/Ant-Sora had done.

 

I was figuring doing that, but I need a song long enough. 2 of the longest songs I have a 10 and 13 minute song, but unless people like nightwish here, I don't think they'll go through. And I might do the AMV battles, actually I've thought of joining them, but I don't know how to join in them. I read over it 3 times and don't get it

 

I'd be cool with partaking in an MEP. Haven't participated in one in over 4 years now. I actually tried holding an MEP a long time ago, when I had a group on Youtube which nobody cared for...

 

I do encourage people to take part in the AMV Battles section, it's a lot of fun and challenging at the same time.

As for the MEP that would be nice to do again, but it was rather annoying YouTube disabled the audio on our first mep almost instantly.

 

What song did you use? They don't report the videos I do that have more obscure bands...usually...

 

If I recall correctly, I think they each used bits of their own songs and put it all together.

 

Oh, so it was a Worm rather than an MEP.

 

The MEP was compiled of a lot of different songs (we didn't' restrict what could and couldn't be used) but who knows which one(s) caused them to disable the audio.

-Edit- and yeah I guess worm would be a better term

 

I could try leading an MEP if some people were interested. I'll put up a few song ideas, and you guys can too.

 

What a coincidence. xD Star and I were talking about the MEP/Worm/whatever we want to call it last week. We do plan to have it again this year but it's most likely going to be during the summer(or winter for me since I live in the Southern Hemisphere, yo) since both me and Star will have more free time then and I'm sure a majority of the forum will as well. Sorry Wingly but I don't think we'll be starting it sooner. Feel free to organize your own though. There are a lot of editors on KHV that would probably like to participate. Hell, maybe even I'll join if you set it up.

I was also thinking about changing up a few things. Nothing's certain since I'm still coming up with ideas though. I wanted to run this stuff by you guys and get your input first. What do you guys think? Do you want the MEP to be the same as last year? Or do you think shaking things up a little bit would be fun?

Last year's MEP was your typical worm basically. I let people choose their own songs and the only restriction that people had was on their video source which had to be Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy or Disney.

 

Oh, in any case, my offer is still up if anyone wants to do an MEP or Worm.
