Religion

I am a Christian and I have friends who are atheist. People make such a big deal out of it and they need to just accept the fact that it's their beliefs.​

 

I think that im supposed to be Christian... but i dont really care about it, i never attend church, never take bread, or second communion... im more of a i belive in everything xD

 

personally, agnostic....

if theres one thing you dont discusss, its religion, you never know who your going to offend....

Discussion leads to debate, debate leads to controversy and contoversy forces change. Without change we would stagnate and die. And who cares if you offend someone? You have the right to say what you want (within reason, of course).

Again stating that I am Atheist, and proud to be so.

 

so, wat your saying s, we should all change our religion to one universal religion through compromise then as time goes by, die from lack of change????

 

I think that people just shouldn't get offended when discussing religion. Its just that some people believe in religion strongly that leads to arguements

 

No, he was saying that we should discuss things so that people understand each other more. We are more than just our 'religions' or lack of religion that we affiliate ourselves with. We learn tolerance and acceptance for one another by not being naive and letting others fill our heads with rumors and lies when it comes to people who say they are of a religion or of none or deciding. Many people discuss religions and don't have war over it and also they learn that whether someone is of a different belief or not, we still connect in other ways so we don't need to have stupid fights over religion itself. Basically, it is to work on that part of us that is prejudiced and naive about other people's cultures. There are some things worthy of being talked about that make us more grand as people in general and help lower prejudice and discrimination.

 

I do believe I am Agnostic. Interesting to see this thread here, but what would we really discuss about "What religion you are"?

 

I've been an atheist as long as I can remember. My best friend is Islam.

 

myself is an Islam and my bff is catholic... we never argued on anything...

I'm atheist, but I still pray to my ancestors when I visit their graves. ^^lll dunno if that's part of any religion.

 

Yeah, I geuss Agnostic would be a better term. I don't realy go to church anymore but I do believe the Christian church. In spite of the fact that I don't go as often as I should, I still pray and read the Bible.

Well i am a christian/Presbyterian.

 

I am an atheist. I do believe in Jesus and such, but I believe that they had witts and they used that to help other people. I personally believe that most things can be explained by Science. And if not that. Chuck Norris(just to be a smart-aliac)​
