Rant on people that think they are cool by pulling off bad marks.

So, today...I encountered one of those "COoOOol Girlz" and it happens that she was like:
"Hey! I got a D on my French test!"
A guy said:
"Same."
And she said:
"Good job!!!"
When I came in with a straight A she was like:
"Ewww. You suck! NERD!"


Now lemme get somethin' straight.
I'm not a NERD! I just know what it's like to work towards a goal you stupid bit......
Yeah.
Anyways,
I feel that we should all sit back and reflect on what we have done with ourselves. I hope all of you are smart enough to try and get good marks, and to realize that this girl is NUTS!

You don't even need to rant. You will be the one with the job that gets you places while those people will be lucky if they can work at McDonalds in the years to come. Victory comes in just agreeing that you are a nerd and nerds make the money.

Yeah, you should definitely strive to learn as much as you can in school. Not necessarily get good marks, just learn.

It's easy, because English came from German, and there aren't so many special rules :>

 

Lol. French is a little interesting....but we are currently learning all the boring stuff.

 

The only choice I had was Spanish, my native tongue.
Took it all four years.
Because one teacher who could teach German, wanted to be as substitute.
My senior year, one of the Spanish teachers switched to French.
So I was going to take Honors Spanish IV and French I
She got pregnant and the lack of French speaking substitutes made me have to pick a different class.

I can take a spanish class in college (i really need to learn it because i have all sorts of family that only speaks spanish) but I think it would a waste of time, just one class isn't going to make me fluent in spanish. I might as well just take something that's easier that fits into my general ed. requirements.

There isn't one.

Since I took all four years and passed the AP in high school, I don't need to take any culture class and now have a free credit.
If someone told me it worked like that earlier, I would have taken more APs and Dual Credit courses in high school
