He blocked with his other hooksword and pulled it out of his hands.

 

Janine chuckled, pushing Jessica's dying body off her katana.
"Don't worry Jessica... While you're gone, I'll be sure to be a good mother to your precious Jessie," she whispered, and started walking over to Kent.

Jessica cried slightly.
"K-kent run!" she called out still shaking.

 

Ren smiled "got to go" Ren said as he started to run away

 

He looked back and saw her laying there. "Jessica! No!" he yelled, running to her.

 

Janine chuckled, seeing Ren run. She'd follow soon.
"Kent... lovely girlfriend you have... It's a shame, you couldn't save her," she whispered, cackling, then running off.

 

"Shut up!" he yelled, running to Jessica's side.

 

ren continued to run off but his destination was unknown to the others

 

Jessica whimpered, feeling the blood pour out of her wound. She reached for his hand.
"Kent, I'm sorry," she cried.

 

"Don't be." he said, tears in his eyes. "You're not going anywhere." He picked her up and carried her back.

 

She shook her head.
"No... Kent... Let me die, with pride..." she said weakly.
"Please..." she begged.

 

"I don't want to lose you." he said. "Hang in there. If not for me, do it for Jessie."

 

She shook her head.
"I'm sorry.. Take care of Jessie for me," she whispered. her body almost felt limp.
"Lay my body by the meadow out of town, and let the sun burn me into ashes... It's the only way I can go peacfully," she whispered, and then her body went fully limp. She was dead.

 

He couldn't believe it. She was gone. He held her body tight as he went back to the meadow.

 

Seth stayed at the house and took care of Jessie "damn it all" Seth said

Ren continued to run "well this was fun" Ren said

 

He lay her down where she wanted and cried a little, heading back to her house.

 

"damn I hope they are alright" Seth said

 

He knocked on the door, still crying.

 

Seth opened the door pointing his sword at Kent but then put it down "what happened? Wheres Jessica" Seth said

 

Janine ran in her domain, pleased with her victory. She'd have the baby soon. She won fair and square.
