Seth watched them unsure what to do to help

 

"Kent," she said with a stern voice.
"I can't DO this anymore. I love you, but you're sufficating me. I'm not some pop little princess, i'm a killer..." she said.

 

"Please." he said. "Please give me another chance. I can change!"

 

She scoffed again.
"Get that line from a romantic comedy?" she asked, turning around to look at him.
"I said, I can't... No matter how many times you ask... I can't be with you anymore. I'm sorry, but we're through," she said. She was taking this much better than he was, apparently.

 

He fell to his hands and knees. "Please." he said. "Don't do this. What about our daughter?"

 

"I'll leave her with you every other night... Don't worry about her, she'll be fine," she said, then took off. She didn't want to see him like that.

 

He pounded his fist into the ground, crushing that one spot of the roof. "Damn it!" he yelled.

 

Seth looked at both of them and sighed once again. He looked at Kent "sorry it turned out like this" Seth said and went with Jessica due to the fact that his house was next to hers

 

She could hear him yell out. She winced, letting a tear roll down her face, with pride. She finally let go.

 

He didn't move at all. He just stayed there and cried.

Jessica ran home, as quickly as she could. She put the baby on her bed, then walked up into the attic, to get the crib bed she slept in. She carried everything downstairs. She threw it on the floor where she would put the crib bed. She dropped to her side against the bed, and cried.

 

Seth had followed her into the house to see if she was alright. He peeked into the room she was in to see how she was

 

She wiped her eyes and looked up, seeing Seth. She stood up quickly, and turned around, not wanting him to see her. She started assembling the crib bed.

 

Seth walked up to her and started to help with the crib "you know seeing you sad makes me feel sad also. Your like a sister to me" Seth said as he fixed the crib

 

She smiled.
"I'll be fine Seth, don't worry," she said, screwing in a few screws in the crib. She picked up Jessie and put her in the crib, ruffling her blonde fuzzy hair.

 

Seth looked at Jessie and smiled "hey JEssica theres something I wanna ask you" Seth said

 

She nodded.
"Yeah?" she asked, putting the pink blanket on her.

 

"Is it all right I become Jessie's mentor. When she becomes of age of course" Seth said

 

She nodded.
"Yeah of course. she'll need someone," she said smiling.
