I've been taking French for 2 years...I suck...=\

 

yea well my teachers (except last two years) have been total crap, sure we learned a bit but it wasn't really fun till the last two years. >_>

 

Yours whoops mine...you obviously have been taking a much more advanced class than I did. Then again...I took it all middle and upper elementary, so I guess that's to be expected.

EDIT: Mine started to such as soon as we learned past tense. I almost forgot how to speak in future tense...it was halarious. Madame Raynor was so pissed...^^

 

lol, that sounds like somegthing that would happen to me.....wait, something like that did already happen to me *faceplam* I forgot very simple things like yes, no, and how to turn stuff into questions *feels like an idiot now*

 

I think Est-ce que vous or Est-ce que tu works, depending on who you're speaking to and the level of formality between speakers.

 

I know, I mean I forgot once or twice in class ~__~

 

Dude, for a question, just add an question mark at the end of a sentence. That's the first and simpelst way our teachers taught us to do it.

 

and if your talking to someone not writing something out? how do you put a question mark then?

Eh, my teacher was all for the formalities. She wouldn't let us use the upward inflection trick...

Serves her right that she got MD and had to retire.

(Okay, maybe she didn't deserve it, but still...a woman who put me through that much torture and humiliation doesn't deserve to drink Cokes in front of me while I sit there, twitching...)
