Eh, I mean I'm sure some girls do so, but in most cases I think makeup expresses individuality and just helps boost confidence. In my case I wear it because I like the way it looks, but I don't think I need it per say. It's kind of like wearing really nice clothes or getting a hair cut to me at this point. It's not the end all, but it can help make some people feel more beautiful. If it's making someone feel better about themselves, then all the power to them.
