I take kendo, Aikiko, Iaido, all sword style martial arts. I'm looking into finding some Kenjutsu, bujutsu dojos as well, though I dont think we have them in america...

Do you ever enter competitions?
Nah, I was never one for competitions, besides "Do" techniques are meant for personal betterment, not warefare, so its not really used, ya know? the few times I was asked though I refused.

Yeah, I only entered competitions of 'forms' mostly because Shaolin, ju jitzu and some other stuff I know really aren't allowed in competitions. We practice in class more. I did two competitions and one I was disqualified from so never bothered to try again...something about not kicking someone's leg...don't ask. I still don't get it!

yeah, styles with "do" tend to be based around training/practice, and very seldom get used in real battle. whereas jutsu's are more combat oriented. incase you werent aware of that tidbit.

Nah, I dont really see my parents actually, they live about 1200 miles away from me lol.(me=california, them=colorado)
