Put my PC on sleep before leaving when I was home during my open 3rd, come back a little while ago to find it off, our microwave clock blank, and our stove clock flashing the wrong time. I had to restart my PC because everything was messed up and slow from the outage. D=
So my mom called them because there was another one today. On Wednesday, they were switching something, and something went wrong. Today, a car ran into a power pole near Hollywood, so they shut power off to fix it. I guess we're on the same grid as that area.
Funny you should mention power outages. We've been having them all over Michigan today with that freakin' big storm we had yesterday. Earlier today there were reports of flooding so bad that it knocked out people's power (Don't ask me how, I'm just going by what the news said). In one place the flooding was so bad that more than half of a semi truck's trailer was submerged. Lucky for me though there was no flooding around my house.
